A method of providing tooth-brushing guide information according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an operation in which a user terminal analyzes a captured image of a user, recognizes the face of the user, and identifies landmarks of the face; an operation in which the user terminal generates a personalized dental model of the user using the landmarks, an operation in which the user terminal provides a virtual dental image by augmented reality using the dental model; and an operation in which the user terminal provides tooth-brushing guide information using the dental model.

In some instances the fiber tip is pre-initiated with a pigment.

In some instances the fiber tip is pre-initiated with a pigment.

The invention relates to a dental tool having a shank region, which is formed for coupling to a dental handpiece, and also having a work region, which is connected to the shank region. In this case, the shank region of the dental tool is formed so that there is the possibility of latchable insertion and removal without actuation. In particular, at least the shank region can consist of plastics material. As a result, inter alia facilitated handling of the tool and inexpensive production of the tool are rendered possible.

The present invention relates to compostable tools for eating and for drinking, such as drinking straws or cutlery. The present invention furthermore relates to biodegradable medical commodities such as cotton swabs, tongue depressors or disposable toothbrushes. The tools and the medical commodities of the present invention comprise plant starch and plant-based thickener and gelling agents and can furthermore comprise cellulose/mechanical pulp, wax, oil and/or glycerine. The tools and the medical commodities of the present invention can furthermore comprise an outer coating which preferably comprises wax and/or a bipolymer, preferably rubber. The present invention additionally relates to a method for producing compostable tools for eating or drinking and for biodegradable medical commodities.

APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR CLEANING TEETH
Various embodiments for cleaning carious regions of a tooth are disclosed herein. For example, a dental apparatus can include a fluid platform having a chamber sized and shaped to retain fluid. The chamber can be configured to be coupled to the tooth over the carious region. A pressure wave generator having a distal end may be configured to be positioned in the chamber. The pressure wave generator may be configured to generate pressure waves in the retained fluid sufficient to clean the carious region.

In one aspect, embodiments relate to a system for performing preventative dental laser treatment. The system includes, a code reader configured to read a machine readable code, a processor configured to verify the machine readable code and prevent future verification of the machine readable code, and a laser treatment system configured to perform a laser treatment, based upon the verified machine readable code. The laser treatment system includes a laser arrangement configured to generate a laser beam, an optical arrangement configured to direct the laser beam toward a dental hard tissue, and a laser controller configured to control a parameter of the laser beam in order to heat at least a portion of a surface of the dental hard tissue to a temperature above 400° Celsius.
