PREPARING AND/OR CARING FOR A MEDICAL OR DENTAL INSTRUMENT
A method for preparing and/or caring for a medical or dental instrument is defined in that the instrument jointly with a connection adapter is first connected to a first preparation and/or care device and subsequently to a second preparation and/or care device. Furthermore, a coupling device is described which is configured to connect a preparation and/or care device for a medical or dental instrument to a connection adapter. A plug-in coupling arrangement and a system are also disclosed.
Technician's cord positioner
Positioning a cord of a corded instrument is accomplished by securing a wearable cord positioner around a wrist or arm of a technician, and then attaching a cord positioner attachment to the cord positioner for cords that are larger or smaller than the cord positioner is designed to accommodate. Multiple cord positioner attachments may be used with the same cord positioner, and the cord positioner attachments may be left attached to a cord permanently. Once a technician is done performing a task, the cord positioner attachment can simply be slipped off of the cord positioner attached to the technician and left with the cord so that it is never misplaced.
MEDICAL ARTICLES WITH MICROSTRUCTURED SURFACE HAVING INCREASED MICROORGANISM REMOVAL WHEN CLEANED AND METHODS THEREOF
The present invention describes medical articles having a microstructured surface, methods of preparing such medical articles, and methods of cleaning medical articles having microstructured surface(s).
MOBILE ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A mobile orthodontic treatment system includes comprising a mobile trailer and a panoramic machine provided within the trailer. The panoramic machine is configured to obtain a 2-D image of a patient's mouth and includes a base secured to the floor of the housing and a stanchion secured to the trailer by a bracket. The mobile orthodontic treatment system further includes a digital scanner and a monitor provided within the housing. The digital scanner is configured to obtain a 3-D image of the patient's mouth and display the image on the monitor. The digital scanner and the monitor are mounted on a wall of the housing by a wall mount articulating bracket. The mobile orthodontic treatment system further includes a lift assembly provided on one of a side and an end of the housing to enable disabled people to enter and exit the housing.
RADIOMETRY SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DENTAL APPLICATIONS
The present disclosure describes systems and methods for radiometry in dental applications. The disclosed systems include a radiometer, a dental curing light, a composite material reader, and a restoration data storage device, where one or more of the radiometer, dental curing light, composite material reader, and restoration data storage device include one or more communication modules that enable wireless communication between one or more components. The radiometer is preferably programmed to determine the change in a rate of cure of a light-curable composite material and thereby determine whether an optimum cure time has been reached for the light-curable composite material. The communication modules may be used to transmit information between the radiometer and the curing light, and between one or more of the radiometer and curing light and one or more of the composite material reader and restoration data storage device.
NON-PERMANENT LOW-TACK SELF-ADHESIVE PRESSURE-SENSITIVE GAUZE
The invention consists of a gauze provided with a structural non-permanent low-tack self-adhesive pressure-sensitive layer on one side, which facilitates the attachment of that side of the gauze to a surface, while the opposite side of the gauze is exposed and available for operator to use. The low-tack self-adhesive pressure-sensitive layer allows the non-permanent low-tack self-adhesive pressure-sensitive gauze to be easily attached to a surface and, after use, to be easily removed in one motion, without altering the surface on which it is temporarily attached.
DENTAL TOOL HOLDER
An apparatus and method for a dental tool holder for use with a cassette assembly for cleaning and preparing dental tools for use. The dental tool holder includes a body with a set of openings. A set of slits extend through the exterior of the body to the openings for the insertion of tools. Opposite of the openings, a valley can be formed in the body at each slit. Additionally, slots can be provided between each set of one slit and one opening.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REMOTE DENTAL MONITORING
The present disclosure provides an intraoral imaging system. The intraoral imaging system may comprise an intraoral adapter. The intraoral adapter may be operably coupled to a mobile device. The intraoral adapter may comprise an elongated housing comprising a viewing channel. The viewing channel may define a field of view of an intraoral region of a subject's mouth for intraoral scanning using a camera of a mobile device. The elongated housing may comprise a flange that is positioned outside of the field of view of the intraoral region of the subject's mouth. The intraoral imaging system may further comprise an image processing unit configured to (i) process a plurality of intraoral images and/or videos captured using the camera of the mobile device, and (ii) determine a dental condition of the subject based at least in part on the plurality of intraoral images and/or videos.
