CUT CROP MONITORING
A method of monitoring a cut-crop laying in a field or during a cutting process, the method includes: receiving a sensing signal from a cut-crop sensor positioned on a mobile agricultural machine, wherein the sensing signal is representative of a sensed gaseous composition associated with the cut-crop; estimating a condition of the cut-crop based on the sensing signal; and outputting cut-crop state data including the condition of the cut-crop.
Crop Handling Apparatus
A crop handling apparatus comprises a mobile chassis. The chassis is mounted on ground-engaging wheels. A tow-bar is provided at a front of the chassis for releasable attachment to a towing vehicle such as a tractor. A crop conditioning rotor is mounted on the chassis and has a plurality of outwardly projecting radial tines. Drive for the crop conditioning rotor can be by way of a drive transmission on the chassis which connects via a drive input with a PTO shaft on a tractor behind which the crop handling apparatus is drawn in use. A crop gathering conveyor is mounted on the chassis in front of the crop conditioning rotor. The crop gathering conveyor has a discharge end located in front of an inlet of the crop conditioning rotor to feed crop material to the inlet of the crop conditioning rotor in use.
Hay Fluffer With Removable Tines
The presented invention is a hay fluffer which includes a frame that is configured to be pulled by a vehicle and a drive assembly supported by the frame. The drive assembly consists of wheels whose rotation, using a system of chains and gears, powers the turn of a rotation shaft. The rotation shaft has, attached, a sequence of cogs with each cog containing three recesses equally spaced and a tine set fitted into each of the three recesses in each cog. Tine sets may be removed and replaced by removing a single reversible fastener.
HAYMAKING MACHINE HAVING ROTORS PROVIDED WITH SECURED TOOLS
A haymaking machine having rotors provided with secured tools, which machine includes at least one rotor having at least one radially extensible rotary support arm, with an inner end connected to the rotor hub and an opposite outer end carrying at least one working tool possessing spikes connected by an intermediate portion presenting coils on the one hand and at least one angled section for fixation to the support arm on the other hand, the arm extends internally through at least some of the coils and a piece for retaining the coils and not coupled with the support arm is attached to this latter. The retaining piece integrates at least one part of the one or more means for fixation of the working tool on the support arm.
HEADER FLOAT AND SKID PLATE ADJUSTMENT
In one embodiment, a machine, comprising: a chassis supporting a hydraulic float assembly, the hydraulic float assembly comprising first plural cylinders and a first control component; a header coupled to the hydraulic float assembly, the header comprising: a frame comprising processing components on an upper side of the frame and plural skid plates on a lower side of the frame, the plural skid plates adjustably coupled to the frame via respective second plural cylinders; and a controller configured to: receive a first input; and provide a first signal to a second control component coupled to the second plural cylinders based on the first input, the second control component configured to adjust fluid flow through the second plural cylinders based on the first signal, the second plural cylinders causing adjustment of a position of the plural skid plates based on the adjusted fluid flow.
Basket rake
A basket rake includes a main frame configured to be coupled to a tractor, a left basket coupled to the main frame via a left extension frame, a right basket coupled to the main frame via a right extension frame, a plurality of hydraulic actuators, a plurality of control lines, and a multi-function valve. Each of the plurality of control lines is hydraulically coupled to one of the plurality of actuators. The multi-function valve is hydraulically coupled to each of the plurality of control lines and is configured to receive hydraulic fluid from the tractor and control flow of hydraulic fluid independently to each of the plurality of hydraulic actuators via the plurality of control lines to extend or retract the extension frames, rotate the left or right baskets, raise or lower the left or right baskets, and operate drive motors of the left and right baskets.
Star-wheel rake
A star-wheel rake including a frame, at least one front rake wheel and a rear drive wheel, coupled with each other so that the rotation of the rear drive wheel causes the rotation of the front rake wheel and connected to the frame so that the front rake wheel is lifted from the ground when the rear drive wheel is in contact with the ground.
TOWED AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT
A wheel mounting structure for a towed agricultural implement having a support beam and a plurality of wheels. The wheels are mounted to the support beam to be displaceable with respect to the support beam between a first position in a transport position and a second position displaced from the first position away from the support beam in a working position. This has as an advantage that the framework is displaced to increase a ground clearance when the towed agricultural implement is in the working position.
DOUBLE WINDROW CONVERTER
The embodiments herein provide a double windrow converter assembly. The double windrow converter assembly is removably attachable behind a towing vehicle or a swather. The converter enables creation of a double windrow of freshly cut hay (with high moisture content). The converter picks up the freshly cut hay windrow using a pickup head which is then diverted to a trough. The hay collected in the trough is discharged on one side of the field to create a first half of the double swath. The swather and the double windrow converter assembly are then operated in opposite direction to generate second half of double swath. Thus, use of the double windrow converter assembly along with swather helps in accomplishing two tasks/operations in a single pass. The assembly also eliminates need for using a rake to pick up dried hay from the field on waiting for a few days after swathing.
COMPOST TURNING APPARATUS
A compost turning apparatus may include a towable mobile base being elongated in a longitudinal direction and having a lateral direction. The mobile base may comprise a frame, a tongue mounted on the frame, one or more transport wheels mountable in a transport setup and an operational setup, one or more support wheels mounted on the frame, and a drive wheel mounted on the frame. The apparatus may also include a rotor mounted on the mobile base to rotate about an axis oriented substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the mobile base. The rotor may have a plurality of paddles arranged in circumferential rows, with various paddle positions and paddle orientations
