Staging assembly for specimen imaging system
A staging assembly for a specimen imaging machine includes a manifold assembly with a housing having an inlet opening and an outlet opening. Each of a plurality of chambers has a chamber opening. Conduits put the chambers in fluid communication with the inlet opening and the outlet opening. A bottom plate extends beneath the chambers. The manifold assembly includes an attachment assembly. A staging dock includes a base, a staging dock anesthesia inlet, and a staging dock anesthesia outlet receivable by the inlet opening of the manifold assembly and including a valve. A staging dock exhaust inlet is receivable by the outlet opening of the manifold assembly. The staging dock includes a staging dock exhaust outlet. A staging dock attachment assembly is releasably attachable to the manifold attachment assembly.

Adjustable supporting device
A supporting device having a curved support surface elevated above a base and angled with respect to the base, such as for the support of an animal. The support surface may be elevated above the base by an adjustable stanchion so that it can accommodate animals of different sizes. The angled support surface may be fixedly or pivotally attached to the stanchion so that it may accommodate the sloped abdomen of the animal. The support surface may be designed to have a small sagitta so that it provides unobstructed access to the sides of the animal being supported. The base may be designed and configured to have a dog-bone shaped outline. Other embodiments are described and shown.

Apparatus for restraining the lower legs and feet of a livestock animal
An apparatus for securing the legs of livestock animals includes a frame also which defines an entrance and an exit and which presents sidewalls which extend between the entrance and the exit thereby presenting a chute suitable for the ingress and egress of a livestock animal. Near the floor of the chute and between the entrance and the exit are leg bars which are able to move between a retracted position suitable for allowing the lower legs of a livestock animal to move freely between the leg bars and the sidewalls and an extended position in which the leg bars are closer to the sidewalls so that the lower legs of a livestock animal are held securely between the leg bars and sidewalls. The apparatus can be used to secure the lower legs of a livestock animal and thereby immobilize the animal.

Automatic system and method for injecting a substance into an animal
A system and method for automatically delivering a substance to an animal or fish including a positioning system that positions each animal singularly and a sensor that detects the location of a predetermined targeted area on the animal. The system further includes a delivery device for delivering a substance to the targeted area. The position of the delivery device may be adjustable. The delivery device is in communication with the sensor. The delivery device adjusts its position in response to the data received from the sensor and delivers a substance to the targeted area.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INJECTING POULTRY
An injector, injection system, and methods for injecting products to a fowl, in which the injector includes a retention member with at least one hole formed in the retention member, a retention member supporting surface supporting the retention member, and injection needle being movable through the hole. A longitudinal axis of the injection needle and an axis perpendicular to the retention member supporting surface form a vertical angle between 15° and 45°.
