Method and Apparatus for Treating Oral Disease in Animals
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to methods and apparatus for the treatment of plaque, halitosis and other oral diseases in animals such as dogs. The methods and apparatus feature the administration of molecular iodine at a concentration that is effective and accepted by animals. Clinical trials show that the dose should not be below 0.5 micro grams/mL and not above 2.0 micrograms/mL. Concentrations outside this range are not effective on the low side and refused by the animal on the high side.
Prophy angle device and method of use
A disposable prophy angle is provided, the prophy angle comprising a housing containing a drive shaft and a driven shaft; the drive shaft having a proximal end and a distal end and a longitudinal axis therebetween, the distal end having a substantially conical driving portion and a projection, the proximal end of the drive shaft configured to engage a dental hand piece; and the driven shaft having a driven portion comprising a recess configured for engagement by the projection and/or the substantially conical portion of the drive shaft to oscillate the driven shaft at an oscillation angle greater than 90 degrees. In some embodiments, there is a method of making a disposable prophy angle by overmolding a prophy cup to the prophy angle. In other embodiments, there is a method of using the prophy angle to prevent tooth decay.

Systems, methods, and apparatus for mapping pet product performance
The present disclosure relates to a system, apparatus, or method for testing of pet products and their resulting impact on pets. Certain embodiments include collecting, at a server, data related to one or more teeth of a pet, where the data results from the testing of the pet product. Certain embodiments also include mapping, by the server, the data to a heatmap representation of the one or more teeth of the pet. The heatmap representation illustrates a statistical analysis of the data. In addition, certain embodiments determine based on the statistical analysis of the data illustrated in the heatmap representation an impact of the pet product on the one or more teeth of the pet.
