The connector is coupled to the fixed body and includes a second space and a cable cutting member in the second space which is in communication with the first space. The electrode is provided in the second space of the connector. An exposed conductor portion provided at one end of a cable is connected to the electrode. The cable extends from the second space to the first space. The other end of the cable is connected to the rotation body. The cable cutting member is configured to cut the cable before the exposed conductor portion connected to the electrode of the connector is disconnected when the cable is pulled due to rotation of the rotation body.

KELVIN CONTACT ASSEMBLY IN A TESTING APPARATUS FOR INTEGRATED CIRCUITS

An electrical Kelvin contact assembly for testing IC testing apparatus that uses an assembly design that reduces the tolerance to a near negligible range. The assembly does not use any screws, dowel pins, adhesives or welding to fasten the electrical contacts to the housing. The design of the assembly uses rows of contacts with specially designed protrusions that sit snugly in openings located on three plate-like layers. These layers contain the contacts in the horizontal plane by securing the protrusions in the opening, as well as in the vertical plane by means of a sandwich between three separate layers. A second contact is slid into back slits formed by the three layers.

Cable connector having an outer casing with a light transmissive region and a grooved metallic shell accommodating a light emitting element

A cable connector assembly comprises a cable and an electrical connector electrically connected with the cable, the electrical connector includes a mating member, a PCB connected with the mating member, a metal shell enclosing the PCB, and an outer case covering the metal shell, the PCB includes a front end, a rear end and a middle portion connecting with the front end and the rear end; wherein the light emitting element is mounted on the middle portion of the PCB, the metal shell includes a front portion, a rear portion, and a connecting portion connecting the front portion and the rear portion, the connecting portion defines a groove, a distance between a bottom of the groove and the PCB is equal to or smaller than a height of the light emitting element, and the outer case has a light-transmissive portion to pass light emitted by the light emitting element.

Cable holding member, plug connector, connector device, flat cable, and method for assembling plug connector

A cable holding member includes a stopper member and a housing. The stopper member has an attachment surface for supporting a flat cable in a folded state. The housing has a mounting surface which is provided at an opening edge of a housing space for housing the stopper member and on which the flat cable is to be placed, and recesses into which protrusions of the flat cable placed on the mounting surface are to be fitted. The flat cable is placed on the mounting surface, and then, the stopper member is inserted into the housing space of the housing. In this way, the stopper member is attached to the housing with the flat cable being supported on the attachment surface.

Electronic apparatus

According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus connectable to an external apparatus includes a first connector and a detector. The first connecter is electrically connected to a second connector of the external apparatus. Each of the first connector and the second connecter includes a plurality of terminals. The detector is configured to detect a state of a first terminal of the first connector. The first terminal of the first connector is configured to be set to a predetermined state via at least a connection line connecting two terminals of the second connector to each other while the first connector and the second connector are electrically connected to each other.

Connector-attached circuit body and bus bar module

A connector-attached circuit body include a circuit body including a flexible substrate having a wiring pattern, and a connector attached to the circuit body and including a terminal and a housing that accommodates the terminal. The terminal is electrically connected to the wiring pattern and extends in a thickness direction of the circuit body.

Plug-in connector

A plug-in connector with a plug side and a connector side is provided, the plug-in connector comprising a housing, a frame, and at least one contact insert. The contact insert comprises sensors and a circuit board with electronics. According to prior art, the risk of overheating of the electronics, occurring inside the plug-in connector as a result of power dissipation, is a reason for the failure of plug-in connectors known to date. Embodiments described herein ensure heat dissipation via a cooling element so that overheating is prevented.
