Electrically connecting device for superconducting wires
An electrically connecting device (1) includes a linking part defining an internal channel (12) that opens onto the exterior of the linking part. The internal channel (12) is able to receive two end segments of two superconducting wires (2, 3) that lie parallel in the internal channel (12) over a segment of common length; and an aperture (13) in the external jacket of the linking part. The aperture (13) is in communication with the internal channel (12) in order to allow a brazing material in liquid form to be inserted into the internal channel (12) around the two end segments of the two superconducting wires (2, 3).
Partitioned cable joint for superconducting cables
Described is a partitioned cable joint comprising a plurality of physically distributed joint elements with the plurality of joint elements taken together defining a joint length. Joint elements may have a first mounting region having a shape selected to accept one petal of superconducting cable and a second mounting region having a shape selected to accept one petal of a second conductor.
Wire with terminal and manufacturing method therefor
A method for manufacturing a terminal-attached electric wire including an electric wire including a core wire having plurality of strand wires, and a female terminal including wire barrels crimped around the core wire. The method includes a first step of applying ultrasonic vibrations to the core wire, and a second step of crimping the wire barrels in a region of the core wire to which ultrasonic vibrations have been applied. The first step includes applying ultrasonic vibrations to the core wire while leaving a compression margin for the crimping by the second step such that the resistance between the electric wire and the female terminal is stabilized until the strand wires of the terminal-attached electric wire are severed when the core wire of the terminal-attached electric wire is further compressed after the second step.
Wire terminating post and electrical device including same
A wire terminating post formed from a conductive material includes a first end structured to interlock with a portion of an electrical component and a second end disposed opposite the first end. The second end includes a first aperture defined therethrough, the first aperture having a first diameter, and a second aperture defined therethrough, the second aperture have a second diameter less than the first diameter.
Wire harness
A wire harness including: a first conductor; a second conductor electrically connected to the first conductor; and a tubular contraction tube that covers a connection between the first conductor and the second conductor, wherein a determination pattern that includes a first determination pattern that allows a first contraction rate in a radial direction of the contraction tube to be determined is printed on an outer circumferential surface of the contraction tube.
Quick install banana plug
A banana plug including a body, a male portion, a female portion, and a lever. The male portion is configured to extend from the body to electrically connect with a receptacle. In one example, the receptacle is a piece of audio/video (AV) equipment. The female portion is configured to receive a wire and/or other electrical component. The lever is configured to actuate between an open position and a closed position. In the open position, the lever is configured to actuate an internal spring to receive a wire. In the closed position, the lever is configured to release the internal spring to secure and/or retain the wire via a compression force.
MICRO CONDUCTIVE THREAD INTERCONNECT COMPONENT TO MAKE AN INTERCONNECT BETWEEN CONDUCTIVE THREADS IN FABRICS TO PCB, FPC, AND RIGID-FLEX CIRCUITS
An interconnect component is configured as an adapter or interposer providing mechanical and electrical interconnects between conductive threads, such as those woven within fabrics, and electrical connection points, such as contact pads on a printed circuit board (PCB), a flexible printed circuit (FPC), and/or a rigid-flex circuit board.
Wire cover
A wire cover (10) is mounted on a rear surface of a housing (30) so that a bundle of wires can be (31) pulled out in a predetermined direction from a rear surface of the housing (30). The wire cove (10) includes a band inserting portion (15) having a curved shape to extend along a part of an outer surface of the bundle of the wires (31) in a circumferential direction and defines a route for a binding member (40) for binding the bundle of the wires (30). A lock fixing portion (47) is provided on an end of the band inserting portion (15) in the circumferential direction and is configured to position a lock (42) of the binding member (40) for locking a band (41) wound around the bundle of wires (31) at a predetermined position, and a reinforcing portion (18) is provided on the lock fixing portion (17).
High voltage connection and method for manufacturing a high voltage connection
A high voltage connection between a first line of a traveling wave tube and a second line of a voltage supply unit for the traveling wave tube includes a plug which is connected to an end section of the first line or of the second line by a crimp connection, and a socket which is connected to an end section of the other line by a crimp connection. Furthermore, a method for manufacturing a high voltage connection is also described.
ELECTRICAL CABLE SPLICE
An electrical cable splice includes a housing having a channel configured to hold a first signal conductor of a first electrical cable therein. The channel is configured to hold a second signal conductor of a second electrical cable therein in electrical engagement with the first signal conductor such that the first and second signal conductors are electrically interconnected. The second electrical cable has a greater diameter than the first electrical cable. A ground shield external to the housing such that the ground shield extends at least partially around the first and second signal conductors. The ground shield is electrically connected to electrical ground conductors of the first and second electrical cables.
