Tool for a connector assembly

A tool for a connector assembly includes a crimp head having a tool housing and a ram assembly disposed within the tool housing, the ram assembly has a connector ram and a shield ram disposed within the connector ram. The tool includes a driving portion driving movement of the ram assembly with respect to the tool housing from a retracted position to a terminated position along a longitudinal direction. The connector ram and the shield ram are movable together with respect to the tool housing from the retracted position to an intermediate position between the retracted position and the terminated position. The shield ram is movable with respect to the connector ram from the intermediate position to the terminated position of the ram assembly.

High-current electrical pass through standoff connection for electronic box

A standoff connection structure which is suitable for connecting a standoff connector and a high-voltage electronic box. The standoff connection structure includes at least one anti-rotation feature, and also includes various sealing features to provide a leak-tight connection between a standoff connector and high voltage electronic box, even after exposure to thermal shock. The standoff connector also facilitates an electrical connection between a high voltage or high current component and the high voltage electronic box.

A connector assembly includes a base, a wire unit, and a wire fixing unit. The base includes a body and two side wings. The two side wings are respectively rotatably connected to two opposite sides of the body, and each of the side wings includes a first fixing portion. The wire unit is located between the two side wings. The wire unit includes a connection seat disposed in the body, and various wires disposed in the connection seat and protruding from one side of the connection seat. The wire fixing unit includes two second fixing portions and various through holes, in which the through holes are located between the two second fixing portions, the two first fixing portions respectively clamp the two second fixing portions, and the wires correspondingly pass through the through holes.

Grounding system for towers of overhead power lines

The invention relates to a grounding system for a tower of an overhead power line, wherein said tower is anchored to the ground by means of one or more anchorage structures (1) at least partially buried. The grounding system is buried and comprises: a first electrically conductive ring-type grounding element (21) which is buried at a first predefined depth, extends horizontally around the anchorage structure (s) (1) of the tower and is electrically connected to the tower; a second electrically conductive ring-type grounding element (22) which is buried at a second predefined depth greater than the first predefined depth, extends horizontally around the anchorage structure (s) (1) of the tower, is larger than the first ring-type grounding element (21) and is electrically connected to the first ring-type grounding element (21) by one or more grounding conductors (24, 26, 28); and one or more micropiles (23, 25, 27, 54) which are electrically connected to the second ring-type grounding element (22), extend vertically or obliquely downwards from said second ring-type grounding element (22) and are configured to act as deep earthing elements.

Electronic device and contact element for use in an electronic device

An electronic device for mounting on a support rail, has a housing, an electronic unit arranged in the housing, and an elastic contact element that serves in the electrically-conductive connection between the electronic unit and the support rail. The contact element has two contact legs, a connecting area connecting the contact legs to one another, and a contacting section connected to the connecting area for making contact with the electronic unit, and wherein when the electronic device is in the mounted state, the contact legs of the contact element make contact in a clamping manner with a leg of the support rail in-between. The contact element arranged ensures, with small size, good electrical and mechanical contacting of the support rail. The sides of the two contact legs facing one another form a short contact area. The first contact area on is sharp-edged, and the second contact area forms a swivel.
