Cable connection structure
A cable connection structure includes cables and a substrate having an electrode thereon. The cables are configured to be connected to the electrode. Each cable includes: a core wire formed of conductive material; a tubular inner insulator for covering an outer circumference of the core wire; a shield which extends along a longitudinal direction of the inner insulator and includes conductors for covering an outer circumference of the inner insulator, and has an exposed portion for exposing the inner insulator; and an outer insulator for covering an outer circumference of the shield. The shield including a region where the exposed portion is formed, the inner insulator, and the core wire are exposed in a stepped manner toward a distal end of each cable. The substrate includes a first electrode configured to be electrically connected to the core wire, and a second electrode configured to be electrically connected to the shield.
Continously transposed conductor
Continuously transposed conductor (“CTC”) cables are described. A CTC cable may include a plurality of electrically insulated strands connected in parallel at their ends. Additionally, each strand may include one or more conductors and an extruded insulation layer formed at least partially around the one or more conductors.
Switch device
A device has a wiring terminal for connecting a busbar, the wiring terminal has a connecting rod, which partly inserts into the wiring terminal and has an interference fit with the wiring terminal, the connecting rod has a conductive first column portion that has an interference fit with the busbar, the first column portion axially arranges a conductive second column portion that has an interference fit with the first column portion, the second column portion is located inside of the first column portion, a thermal expansion coefficient of the second column portion is greater than that of the first column portion, a resistivity of the second column portion is greater than that of the first column portion, a material of the second column portion is an aluminum or an aluminum alloy, and a material of the first column portion is a copper or a copper alloy.
Photovoltaic power device and wiring
Various implementations described herein are directed to employing photovoltaic strings including a photovoltaic power device with a specialized wiring configuration, which enables high string efficiency without incurring excessive wiring costs. Implementations may include a cable built into photovoltaic generators that carry one portion of the current, and other portions of the current may be carried by direct-current (DC) or alternating-current (AC) cables bypassing the photovoltaic generators.
Post insulator keeper
A post insulator, a post insulator keeper, and a method of securing a conductor on a post insulator are provided. A post insulator includes: an electrically insulative case including an abutment surface defining a recess; and a keeper rotatably coupled to the case between an open position in which a conductor is receivable into the recess, and a closed position to maintain the conductor in the recess.
Chain of Power Devices
Various implementations described herein are directed to methods for connecting power devices prior to deployment in a photovoltaic installation, for cost savings and easy deployment. Some embodiments disclosed herein include manufacturing a chain of power devices already coupled by conductors, and providing a mechanical assembly for convenient storage and deployment.

Self-hammering, copper-bonded steel ground rod tool for locating underground utilities
A unitary tool that combines a ground rod to a self-hammering mechanism in a trapped configuration. The ground rod has a length ranging between forty-two and fifty-two inches for facilitating the self-hammering functionality. The ground rod is made from copper-bonded steel for more effectively grounding an electrical connection than the prior art.
