Managed connectivity in electrical systems and methods thereof

An electrical connector arrangement includes a storage device coupled to a connector housing. The storage device is configured to store physical layer information pertaining to the electrical connector arrangement. The storage device also has contacts that enable the physical layer information to be read from the storage device by a media reading interface. A connector assembly includes at least one receptacle assembly; a printed circuit board; and a media reading interface.

Covering device for a contacting portion of a printed circuit board, control system for a mechatronic module and method for assembling a control system

A cover device for a contact section of a printed circuit board for a mechatronics module is proposed. The printed circuit board includes a contact section which has at least one connection hole, for connecting an electrical connection element to the printed circuit board. The cover device is characterized in that the cover device has a voltage protection element and a sealing element for sealing the at least one connection hole. The sealing element has at least one blind hole thereby, for receiving an end section of the electrical connection element.

Electrical connector

A plurality of contacts are disposed within the corresponding passageways of the housing of the electrical connector, respectively. Each contact includes a main body extending in a vertical plane with two pairs of fixing sections on two opposite lateral sides to form an X-like shape, and a pair of resilient contacting arms extending from opposite upper and lower ends of the main body for mating with the CPU and PCB. A pair of extension arms extend from the waist section of the main body in a direction perpendicular to the vertical plane. The contacting arm includes a vertical section coplanar with the main body, an oblique section extending from an upper end of the vertical section with a bulged and narrowed contacting section at the free end. Each pair of fixing sections are located by two sides of the vertical section of the corresponding contacting arm.

Socket with routed contacts

A socket (130) employs a substrate (310) including a conductive network. An array of first contacts (136) is on a top surface of the substrate (310) and arranged to engage an integrated circuit (110). An array of second contacts (138) is on a bottom surface of the substrate (310) and arranged to engage a circuit board (120). The conductive network electrically connects the first contacts (136) respectively to the second contacts (138), and the first contacts (136) include a routed first contact (136′) that the conductive network routes horizontally in or on the substrate (310).

Connecting terminal device and electronic device including the same

A connecting terminal device may include: a bottom plate; a movable part provided on a rear surface of the bottom plate that is configured to be electrically connected to an external object as the movable part is pressed or raised; one or more protective walls provided on side surfaces of the bottom plate; pressing preventing parts provided at ends of the protective walls and provided between the bottom plate and the movable plate to restrict a pressing movement of the movable part; and rising preventing parts provided on side surfaces of the protective walls to restrict a rising movement of the movable part.

Receptacle connector with improved fastening and clamping components

A receptacle connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of terminals fastened to the insulating housing, a clamping element and two pairs of reinforcing blocks. A middle of a front surface of the insulating housing is recessed inward to form an insertion space. Two opposite sides of the insulating housing define two clamping grooves. The clamping element has a fixing board fastened to the insulating housing. Two opposite sides of the fixing board are bent frontward to form two clamping arms. Tail ends of the two clamping arms are connected with two clamping portions. The two pairs of reinforcing blocks are fastened in top walls and bottom walls of the two clamping grooves, respectively.

FLOATING CONNECTOR WITH MULTIPLE FITTING-SIDE HOUSINGS

A plug connector includes a substrate-side housing, a fitting-side housing, a plurality of terminals having movable springs. The fitting-side housing is formed by a plurality of divided housings. The fitting-side housing is formed by a plurality of divided housings moveable separately in a width direction of the connector. The substrate-side housing includes a receiving chamber that receives the divided housings therein and an abutment receiving portion against which the divided housings displaced inside the receiving chamber abut. The terminals are disposed in each of the divided housings, and have contact portions inside the substrate-side housing and the divided housings, and the contact portions are to be in conductive contact with the connection object.
