The connector dock includes blind signal connectors that mate with the first signal connector receptacles and blind power connectors that mate with the first power connector receptacles when the server is installed into the server rack. The connector dock further includes second signal connector receptacles facing a back of the server rack, where each second signal connector receptacle is connected to an associated one of the blind signal connectors; and second power connector receptacles facing the back of the server rack, where each second power connector receptacle is connected to an associated one of the blind power connectors.

Surface mount connector and surface mount connector set

A surface mount connector in which an internal terminal does not extend to a location outside an external terminal is provided. A surface mount connector includes an external terminal that includes a tubular portion that extends in a first direction, an internal terminal that is separated from the external terminal inside the tubular portion when viewed in the first direction, and an insulator that is disposed between the internal terminal and the external terminal and that has a first main surface and a second main surface opposite the first main surface. The insulator inside the tubular portion has a through-hole that extends from the first main surface to the second main surface.

Hermetically sealed controlled impedance feedthrough assembly

An assembly for passing controlled impedance electrical signals between two different environments via feedthroughs in a feedthrough block. The feedthrough has a signal coupling, a dielectric surrounding the signal coupling, and a ground coupling surrounding the dielectric. An electrically insulating block has an electrically conductive signal link and discrete electrically conductive ground links surrounding the signal link. An electrically conductive block has a separate dielectric spacer and signal link through the spacer. The junctions between the block, links, and spacer are sealed to hermetically separate the two environments. In one method, the components are press fit, leaving no gap between adjacent components. In another method, potting material is forced into the junctions between components.
