Protection Apparatus And Method
Exemplary embodiments herein describe accessory equipment for equestrian applications, and in particular a flexible protective wrap or boot for supporting and protecting the upper and lower leg of a horse, including the fetlock joint. When wrapped or fastened to a horse limb, the exemplary wrap can impact strength, friction surfaces, elongation, porosity, compression, breathability, water and moisture evaporation, elasticity, absorbency and cushioning. The wrapping structure may include improved limb support, general limb protection, and treatment for swollen legs, fetlock and pastern. Embodiments described herein may include limb protection in general and particularly during trailering and long transit in motor vehicles and trailers, cellulitis treatment, and providing compression that does not disrupt lymphatic flow and blood circulation when wrapping is applied.

Protective device for the head and ears of an animal
A protective cover device for an animal's head includes a first portion for securement around the animal's neck, behind the occiput and at or near the smallest diameter of the neck, and a second portion for covering the animal's ears that is fastened forward of said first portion and at or near the throat or jaw of the animal. The device may be a flexible/generally-flexible panel with supplemental shaping, stiffening, and/or adjustment systems to cup/fit the ears, to prevent the ears from sliding out of the device, and/or to prevent foreign objects such as cheat-grass or fox-tail, ticks, or insects from reaching the ears. Stiffeners may be added along or beside the central axis, around the front edge, and/or near the animal's ears, to shape and hold the second portion in a configuration protective of the animal ears and not easily rolled-up or pushed off by a paw/foot.

MULTI-APERTURE PLATE FASTENING
Disclosed are an arced plate, a first fastener, and a second fastener. The arced plate can define a first arced aperture array and a second arced aperture array. When the arced plate, the first fastener, and the second fastener are used in combination, the fasteners can retain the arced plate as a truncated cone. Each fastener can include inserts configured to extend through, and thereby occupy minor apertures formed in the arced plate.
