Receptacle Relocator
The current invention is an electrical relocator. It is designed to make an inaccessible outlet useable. The device plugs into the wired outlet at one end, a new receptacle can be provided in a more convenient location through the use of an extendable bar. A blank cover that has prongs on the backside that fit into the hot, neutral, and grounded openings of the wired socket, which is blocked. Wires running through the hollow bar will carry the power from the blocked outlet to a new outlet attached to the other end of the arm. This new outlet can be secured to the wall in a more convenient location using removable tape or screws.
Power strip assembly with switch controlled outlet banks
A power strip assembly for facilitating electrical devices plugged into a power strip to be individually turned on and off includes a power strip that is longitudinally elongated and a plurality of banks of female electrical outlets integrated into the power strip. A plurality of power switches is each movably coupled to the power strip. Each of the power switches is in electrical communication with a respective one of the banks of female electrical outlets for turning the respective banks of female electrical outlets on and off. In this way the plurality of power switches can turn off respective electrical devices plugged into the power strip while leaving respective electrical devices plugged into the power strip turned on.
Patch panel system and jack module attachment thereto
A jack module includes a chassis, a frame, and jacks. The jack module is configured to releasably hold any of a plurality of types of jacks. Each jack is configured to releasably mount to the frame. The frame is configured to couple to the chassis so that rear portions of the jacks extend rearwardly from the chassis. The jack module mounts to a rear of a patch panel frame by coupling the jack module to a faceplate mounted at a front of the patch panel frame.

Power Distribution Connector with Interface Load Receptacle
A power distribution connector is configured to connect an electrical cable to at least three electrical interfaces. The connector includes a housing with first and second sections. The first section includes a first electrical interface disposed at a first end of the first section and a second electrical interface disposed at a second end opposite the first end. The second section forms a T-shaped intersection with the first section between the first and second electrical interfaces. The second section includes a distal end opposite the T-shaped intersection, the distal end being configured to receive the electrical cable; and a third electrical interface oriented parallel to the first section, disposed adjacent to the second electrical interface, and extending a distance from an axis of the second section that is less than or equal to a distance from the axis of the second section that the second electrical interface extends.
Techniques For Integrating Wireless Functionality In A Power Outlet
A power control device is contained within a housing and has an electric current sensor configured to measure current passing through an electric outlet during a time period, a proximity sensor configured to detect a distance of an object relative to the electric outlet during the time period, a relay switch that can open or close to stop or conduct current through a circuit in the electric outlet in response to a command, and a wireless network interface in communication with the electric current sensor and the proximity sensor, the wireless network interface configured to transmit and receive data from the current sensor and the proximity sensor, to transmit commands to the relay switch, transmit the data to a computing device, and receive commands from the computing device.
POWER DISTRIBUTION UNIT RETENTION DEVICE
The present disclosure is directed to a PDU retention device comprising a rectangular frame having a central cutout portion, a first protrusion extending from the frame into the cutout portion, a guidance fixture permitting the frame to move along a path, and a second protrusion extending from the frame away from the central cutout portion.
TANGLE-RESISTANT DECORATIVE LIGHTING ASSEMBLY
A decorative lighting assembly comprises a first power wire electrically connected to a first power contact and a second power wire electrically connected to a second power contact. The first power wire and the second power wire cooperate to surround a display area of the decorative lighting assembly. Lamp assemblies are distributed across the display area. The lamp assemblies include a first row of lamp assemblies aligned along a first line, a second row aligned along a second line, a third row aligned along a third line, and a fourth row of lamp aligned along a fourth line. A first cord is disposed along a first zig-zag path connecting the lamp assemblies in the first row with the lamp assemblies in the second row. Intermediate wires are disposed along a second zig-zag path connecting the lamp assemblies in the second row with the lamp assemblies in the third row.
Cable assembly
A cable assembly extends in a longitudinal direction. The cable assembly comprises a first cable, two second cables, two coupling portions, an interposing portion and an outer cover. The first cable has a first conductor and a first cover. Each of the second cables has a second conductor and a second cover. The coupling portions couple the second covers, respectively, with the first cover. The first cable, the two second cables and the two coupling portions are arranged in a V-shape in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The interposing portion extends along the first cable and the two second cables and has a full length which is equal to that of each of the first cable and the two second cables. The interposing portion is brought into contact with all the first cable and the two second cables.
Outdoor utility stake
The outdoor utility stake is an electric distribution device that is for outdoor use. The outdoor utility stake anchors into the ground. The outdoor utility stake draws electric energy from a national electric grid. The outdoor utility stake distributes electric energy for use by one or more electrically powered devices. The outdoor utility stake forms a protected space that encloses the electric connection between the national electric grid and the outdoor utility stake. The outdoor utility stake comprises a distribution structure and a transfer circuit. The distribution structure contains the transfer circuit. The distribution structure forms the protected space used to form the protected space that encloses the electric connection between the national electric grid and the outdoor utility stake.
