UNIFYING ELECTRICAL INTERFACE CONNECTION PLATFORM

The disclosed Unifying Electrical Interface presents a versatile connectivity platform having the merging capabilities permitting more than a singular voltage, level or type to be made available from an electrical outlet. When wired fully, the choice of AC and/or DC made available to the consumer is broadened. Direct Current (DC) provided via the UEI would originate from a locally based DC source access point obviating the need to use wall chargers or power supplies that wastefully consume energy even when in standby mode. By this approach, the UEI based system extends an avenue for renewable energy technology to he made readily available in a building; while offering a synergistic advantage for the end user, the energy provider and the environment by reducing energy waste. That power conservation and accessibility will result in greater choice and savings for the consumer and will reduce the need for excess production from electric providers.

Latch assembly for low-profile right-angle electrical connector

A low-profile, right angle connector assembly comprises six cable connectors and six board-mount connectors housed within a PCIe bracket and EMI shell. The PCIe bracket and EMI shell are braced to a low profile PCIe card. Each board-mount connector is designed to receive a cable connector and allows for the transmission and processing of high-speed data with lower latency. A removable latch mounted on the cable connectors helps ensure the cable connectors remain physically connected to the board-mount connectors. The removable latch may be replaced as needed for breakage and wear and tear.

Connector plug having a sealing hook with a bevel surface and flexible ridges

A connector plug comprises a hook with flexible edges. The hook has a first beveled surface and a second flat surface. A stopper is coupled to the flat surface of the hook by a first barrel portion of the connector plug. The stopper is coupled to a plurality of ridges with flexible edges by a second barrel portion. The plurality of ridges are also coupled to each other by the second barrel portion. A via extends through the connector plug from one end of the connector plug to the other end of the connector plug.

Power socket extension lead

An extension lead having a body provided with at least one power socket area for receiving connecting plugs of the “Schuko” type, and having inside it electrical connection means, and a cable for connecting to the electrical power network with a connecting plug at its end that exits from the said body, characterised in that the body has externally two flexible covers, one upper cover and one lower cover, which form an internal cavity that encircles the said body and allows the electrical power network connecting cable to be housed in wound form.

Modular RF devices

A modular passive RF apparatus includes a passive RF portal and a passive RF expansion module configured to be removably coupled with the passive RF portal. A male connector is configured to extend from a top surface of the passive RF portal, and a female connector is configured to extend from the first end wall of the passive RF expansion portal. The female connector is configured to slidingly engage the male connector in a direction parallel to the top surface of the passive RF portal in order to mechanically couple the passive RF expansion module with the passive RF portal, and the male connector is configured to prevent the female connector from being removed from the male connector in a direction perpendicular to the top surface of the passive RF portal.

A location tracking power cord and method therefore is taught in the various embodiments. The power cord includes location module housing having a location circuit board therein. Within the location module housing, a power supply is positioned and in electrical communication with conductors extending through the cord housing. The location module housing also provides location for a communication module including a location module such as a Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite receiver and at least one cellular transceiver. In some embodiments, the power cord may be hospital grade.

ATTACHMENT FOR OUTLETS, LIGHT SWITCHES, AND OTHER FIXTURES TO AID LOCATING AND USE

The attachment generally takes on the form of a removable decal that one places over the fixture, such as an outlet. The attachment may glow in the dark, by use of common glow-in-the-dark materials such as glow-in-the-dark paint or phosphorescent paper. This enables the fixture to be easily located in the dark for turning on a light switch or plugging in a plug into an outlet. The attachment can also be illuminated through electrical means, such as by using electroluminescent paper. In other embodiments, the attachment is not illuminated and contain a design to make the fixture more noticeable, aesthetically pleasing, and easier to access.

Power strips
09742127 · 2017-08-22 ·

A power strip having two or more powers strips daisy chained together where each of the two or more power strips include a sequence control module operable to sequentially activate and/or deactivate the outlets, thereby powering up or powering down each outlet separately across the two or more power strips. A pre-determined time delay, that can be set by a user, occurs between the activation and/or deactivation of the outlets. The sequence control module of each power strip is operatively coupled to the sequence control module of the subsequent next power strip so that one power strip can be used to trigger activation of the next power strip.
