Retractable Wall Mounted Electrical Plug for Charging Communication Devices
A retractable electrical plug for mounting in a hollow wall structure of a building and for charging the batteries of portable communication devices, including a face plate for mounting to hollow wall structures defining on its exterior surface a plug recess, a plug shaped to nest in the plug recess, a cord opening in the face plate extending from the plug recess to the interior surface of the face plate, and an electrical conductor cord that extends from the plug and through the cord opening into the hollow wall.
CHARGING SYSTEM
A charging system includes a primary single charging bay unit and at least one secondary single charging bay unit. Each of the units has an adapter cup for receiving one of a battery and a battery-powered device for charging, an associated printed circuit board disposed beneath the adapter cup, and a primary printed circuit board disposed within the main body. The least one secondary single charging bay unit is in communication with the primary single charging bay unit via a user assembled backplane bus. The backplane bus is expandable to permit a gangable or build-out configuration of the charging system.
Modular Wall-Mounted Electrical Control Device
A family of wall-mounted electrical fixtures, both for lighting control and electrical power or signal delivery, having a modular design. Said modular design predominately isolating those components that are directly connected to in-wall wiring within a wall-mounted base and low-voltage control and communication components, such as sensors, user-interface elements, programmable logic and wireless communication modules, within an aesthetically-appealing, easily-detachable faceplate assembly.
Managed connectivity in electrical systems and methods thereof
An electrical connector arrangement includes a storage device coupled to a connector housing. The storage device is configured to store physical layer information pertaining to the electrical connector arrangement. The storage device also has contacts that enable the physical layer information to be read from the storage device by a media reading interface. A connector assembly includes at least one receptacle assembly; a printed circuit board; and a media reading interface.
Bracket assembly for reinforcing connectors on printed circuit boards
This document describes a bracket assembly for reinforcing connectors on printed circuit boards. In some aspects, an apparatus is described that includes a device chassis with a stopper feature, a printed circuit board (PCB) attached to the device chassis, and an extended connector assembly mounted to the PCB. The extended connector assembly includes a connector and a connector reinforcing bracket. The connector reinforcing bracket increases a length of the connector to reduce the magnitude of a bending moment induced in the PCB by a connector insertion force. The connector reinforcing bracket also limits deformation of the PCB caused by the connector insertion force.
COMPOSITE CABLE AND COMPOSITE HARNESS
[Problem] Provided are a composite cable and a composite harness that allow the improvement of cable termination workability while maintaining the flex resistance. [Solution] A composite cable 1 is provided with a pair of first electric wires 2, a twisted pair wire 4 formed by twisting a pair of second electric wires 3 having a smaller outer diameter than the first electric wires 2 and a tape member 6 spirally wound around an assembled article 5 that is formed by twisting the pair of first electric wires 2 and the twisted pair wire 4 together, wherein a twist direction of the twisted pair wire 4 is different from a twist direction of the assembled article 5, and the twist direction of the assembled article 5 is different from a winding direction of the tape member 6.

POWERED WALL PLATE SYSTEM FOR AN ELECTRICAL OUTLET
Systems and devices are disclosed for a powered wall plate for an electrical outlet. The system includes a wall plate and a cable. The wall plate includes a conductor having a first end to engage a socket of the outlet. The wall plate is attached to the outlet and covers two or more sockets of the outlet. The cable includes a first cable end and a second cable end. The first cable end includes a connector to engage a second end of the conductor of the within the wall plate. The second cable end includes an additional electrical outlet. In some embodiments, the powered wall plate system includes a base plate, and the base plate includes a cavity therein. The wall plate is disposed within the cavity and attached to the electrical outlet. An exterior cover plate is positioned over the wall plate and on the base plate.
HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE TABLE OR DESK
A table or desk includes: a surface; a substrate, wherein the surface is attached to an upper plane of the substrate; and at least one leg directly or operatively connected to an underneath side of the substrate, wherein the leg is height adjustable. The height of the table or desk can be adjusted by raising and lowering the surface and the substrate via a motor. The motor can be controlled by a variety of mechanisms and can adjust the height by moving telescoping leg segments into and out of position with each other. The table or desk can be used in a home or office setting.
Wafer connector and fitting connector
To provide a connector assembly and a fitting connector capable of improving workability of insertion and removal. In the wafer connector according to one embodiment, in a case where the first wafer connector is stacked with the second wafer connector including the second flexible arm, when the first flexible arm moves between the latch engagement position and the latch disengagement position in a state where the first engaging portion of the first wafer connector is engaged with the engaging portion of the second wafer connector, the second flexible arm also moves between the latch engagement position and the latch disengagement position.
