The present invention provides an adapter which comprises a housing, a support assembly, a circuit board and at least two pin assemblies wherein the pin assemblies are arranged layer by layer in sequence, and the support assembly comprises a first support frame used for installing a live-wire connecting sheet and a null-wire connecting sheet and a second support frame used for installing the pin assemblies; the first support frame and the circuit board are arranged at the top and the bottom of the second support frame respectively; The present invention can solve the problem in the prior art that an adapter takes on a low internal part utilization rate and its housing takes on a low internal space utilization rate.

The internal battery can be replaced and/or removed and recharged.

Example of systems with rotatable port units are described. In an example, a system includes a control unit, a first port unit with a first set of ports coupled to the control unit, and a second port unit with a second set of ports coupled to the control unit. The second port unit is mounted on the first port unit and is rotatable with respect to the first port unit. The control unit is to enable a sub-set of ports from the second set of ports and the first set of ports based on a rotational position of the second port unit with respect to the first port unit.

An electrical plug accommodates many different angular configurations of electrical contacts, has a modular design, and is sturdy and robust. In one embodiment, a reconfigurable power cord assembly includes an electrical plug having a plug body having a plurality of cavities, each cavity for receiving a single electrical contact, at least one cavity configured to allow the respective electrical contact to be positioned in one of the plurality of cavities, at one of a plurality of angular positions, each electrical contact being supported within its cavity by a contact retainer that mounts within the plug body to secure respective electrical contacts within the plug body in a predetermined orientation, wherein the plug body is configured to accommodate a plurality of electrical contact orientations, the contact retainer being removably and rotatably attached to the interior of the plug body.

An integrated power supply system with audio and electronic communication and connection capabilities for being retained relative to a work surface. The system has a system base, power outlets, electronic data connectivity ports, and speakers. The connectivity ports can comprise USB, USB-C, LAN, HDMI, telephonic, or other ports. A telephone connectivity subsystem enables telephone communication, and a wireless connectivity subsystem enables wireless operation. A central engaging portion of the system base is received into positive engagement in a selective position along a mounting collar and within an aperture in the work surface, and a mounting bracket clamps the work surface between the system base and the mounting bracket. A detachable electronic command console is operative to control electronic operation of the system base and electronics coupled to the system base. The command console is further operative to permit control and operation of the telephone connectivity subsystem.
