Electric Connector With Mounting Surface
An electric connector comprises a contact, a base assembly, a pair of first circuit board sections, and a plurality of electric components. The base assembly has a connector face on a first side and an interior side opposite to the connector face. The contact is disposed on the connector face. The pair of first circuit board sections are disposed on the interior side and extend away from the base assembly. The pair of first circuit board sections face each other. At least one electric component is disposed on each of the first circuit board sections.
CONNECTOR WITH ASYMMETRIC BASE SECTION
An electrical contact includes a base that includes first and second side edges, and a forward edge that extends between the first and second side edges. At least one contact arm extends from the forward edge of the base for making electrical contact with a contact pad. Each of the first and second side edges defines one or more protrusions configured to engage an interior portion of a connector housing for securing the electrical contact within the connector housing. The one or more protrusions on the first side edge are asymmetrically arranged with respect to the one or more protrusions on the second side edge such that respective centers of each of the one or more protrusions on the first side edge are misaligned with respective centers of each of the one or more protrusions on the second side edge.
Foldable power strip
A foldable power strip having a pair of housing members having one or more outlets thereon and being rotationally connected together about a hinge or vertical axis. A power cord housing is also connected about the hinge or vertical axis to permit the housing members and power cord to be independently rotated relative to one another. The inside walls of the housing members may include side members that define a recess for receiving and protecting the power cord when the housing members are in the closed position.
ROTATING MECHANISM AND PLUG USING SAME
A plug includes a housing, a rotating mechanism, and a pair of pins. The rotating mechanism has a holding member, and a rotating member. The holding member is secured in the housing, and has an elastic arcuate portion having a plurality of recesses. The rotating member is rotatable relative to the holding member, and has a projection mating with each of the recesses of the arcuate portion of the holding member. The pair of pins are secured to the rotating member. The projection of the rotating member is movable along the arcuate portion of the holding member and presses the arcuate portion such that the arcuate portion is elastically deformed until the projection engages one of the recesses of the arcuate portion. When the projection engages one of the recesses, the rotating member and the pair of pins are held in a specific orientation.

COMPOSITE CONNECTOR HAVING DUAL TONGUE
A composite connector is used for receiving a first and a second docking connectors (700, 800) and includes: an insulation main body (1); a first tongue (11) and a second tongue (12), and plural first, second and third terminals (3, 4, 5). The first tongue (11) and the second tongue (12) are connected to the insulation main body (1); the first terminals (3) and the second terminals (4) are disposed on two surfaces of the first tongue (11) for allowing the first docking connected (700) to be connected; the third terminals (5) are disposed on any surface of the second tongue (12) for allowing the second docking connector (800) to be connected. Accordingly, two interfaces can be integrated in the same connector, thereby achieving an objective of composite operation.
Electronic device having a detachable tablet
An electronic device may be provided that includes a base portion having an input device, a tablet having a display and a docking connector with a plurality of second electrical connectors, and a docking connector to move relative to the base portion. The docking connector may include a first docking pole to extend from the docking connector and to engage with the docking receptacle, and a plurality of first electrical connectors.

Universal smart adaptor
A method and apparatus for a lighting assembly for a vehicle can include a housing assembly and a set of adaptors. Vehicles today are often limited to specific wiring harnesses or connection types based upon manufacturer. Each adaptor of the set of adaptors can include a different connection type. The adaptors are interchangeably connectable to the housing assembly in order to vary the connection type based upon the specific wiring harness or connection type of the particular vehicle.
Connector housing mounted on a wall socket by means of an adaper plate
A retractable wall mounted electrical connector assembly is mounted to an existing electrical wall socket for charging a battery of a hand held device, and includes an adapter plate with adapter openings for alignment with the support openings of the wall socket, and a perimeter support rim. The cord housing includes a perimeter mating rim that fits with the perimeter support rim of the adapter plate, and a lock for connecting the perimeter mating rim of the cord housing to the perimeter support rim of the adapter plate.
