Apparatus are disclosed for vehicle connectors for monitoring connection with trailer connectors. An example connector of a vehicle for coupling a trailer to the vehicle includes a wall defining a cavity to receive a trailer connector, a seal to engage the trailer connector when the cavity receives the trailer connector, and a first trailer-connection sensor disposed in the seal to monitor engagement of the trailer connector with the seal to identify a secure connection with the trailer connector.

An electrical connector includes: an housing including a base portion and a tongue portion; and an upper and lower rows of conductive terminals retained to the housing, each row of conductive terminals including a pair of grounding terminals at two outer ends thereof and a power terminal immediately inwardly of one of the pair of grounding terminals, each conductive terminal having a contacting section exposed to a surface of the tongue portion, a tail section extending out of the base portion, and a retaining section between the contacting section and the tail section; the power terminal has a widened section extending from the contacting section thereof toward an adjacent grounding terminal and embedded in the tongue portion; a thickness of the widened section is less than a thickness of the contacting section; a bottom surface of the widened section is lower than a bottom surface of associated contacting section.

Plug assemblies

A plug assembly for a vehicle-trailer wiring connector assembly includes a plug housing, six connector cavities, and a first and second electrical connectors. The plug housing is positionable in a receptacle assembly. The six connector cavities are defined in and radially disposed around a connecting face of the plug housing in compliance with the Society of Automotive Engineers J2863 standard. The first electrical connector is positioned with respect to a first connector cavity of the cavities. A first contact surface of the first electrical connector is contactable within the first connector cavity. The second electrical connector is positioned with respect to the plug housing. A second contact surface of the second electrical connector is substantially aligned with an outer surface of the plug housing and externally contactable. The second electrical connector is positioned relative to the first electrical connector such that the second electrical connector is electrically insulated therefrom.

USB interface and mobile terminal

The present disclosure provides a USB interface and a mobile terminal. The USB interface includes a USB interface main body, an inserting tongue of a power line configured for coupling to an external power line via inserting portions and an inserting tongue of a ground line configured for coupling to an external ground line via inserting portions, in which a bottom of the inserting tongue of the power line and a bottom edge of the inserting tongue of the ground line are coupled to the USB interface main body; the inserting tongue of the power line has P inserting portions extending therefrom, where P is greater than or equal to 2; and the inserting tongue of the ground line has Q inserting portions extending therefrom, where Q is greater than or equal to 2. At least two of the P inserting portions have different lengths, and at least two of the Q inserting portions have different lengths.
