The present invention refers to a polyamide moulding composition consisting of the following components: a) 45 to 75% by weight of at least one partially crystalline polyamide consisting of at least one diamine and at least one aromatic dicarboxylic acid, whereupon the at least one diamine has 4 to 18 carbon atoms and is selected from a group of diamines consisting of linear aliphatic diamines, branched aliphatic diamines and cycloaliphatic diamines, b) 5 to 20% by weight of at least one fibrous reinforcing agent, c) 10 to 40% by weight of at least one non-sized filler which is different from the fibrous reinforcing agent in b), d) 0 to 10% by weight of a at least one additive, with the proviso that the component b) and c) add up to 25 to 45% by weight and the entirety of components a) to d) add up to 100% by weight. Moreover, the present invention refers to a moulded article producible from this moulding composition.

Electrical receptacle connector for providing grounding and reducing electromagnetic interference

An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing received in the metallic shell, receptacle terminals, and a grounding plate. The receptacle terminals and the grounding plate are at the insulated housing. The insulated housing includes a base portion and a tongue portion extending from the base portion. The grounding plate includes a plate body, extension arms, and contact regions. The front of the plate body is near to a front lateral surface of the tongue portion, and the rear of the plate body is extending to the base portion. The plate body is between the receptacle terminals. The extension arms are extending from the plate body. The contact regions are formed on the extension arms and in contact with an inner wall of the shell body. Accordingly, the grounding plate is in contact with the metallic shell for providing grounding and reducing the electromagnetic interference.

Connector attachment structure for electric vehicle

A vehicle connector that is connected through a cable to a vehicle-mounted power switchboard is attached to an attachment bracket secured to a vehicle body. The attachment bracket includes a first bracket having an attachment portion to which the vehicle connector is attached and a second bracket secured to the vehicle body so as to be positioned further to an inside of the vehicle body than the first bracket. The first bracket and the second bracket form a closed cross section. Thus, the attachment bracket having the closed cross section supports a load that is applied when a connector to be mated with the vehicle connector is inserted into or removed from the vehicle connector.

Electrical connector having improved shielding structure

An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a number of terminals disposed in the insulative housing, a metallic shielding plate, and a shell. The insulative housing defines a base portion and a tongue portion extending upwardly from the base portion. The terminals have at least one grounding contact located laterally. The at least one grounding contact has a connecting portion retained in the base portion, a soldering portion extending backwardly from the base portion, and a tail portion extending upwardly from the connecting portion and exposed from a gap of the tongue portion. The metallic shielding plate has a bridge portion enclosing a front end of the tongue portion and a pair of side portions extending backwardly from two sides of the bridge portion. The side portions partly cover side edges of the tongue portion and electrically connect with the tail portions of the at least one grounding contact.
