A connector to connect electric circuits inside and outside the tire includes: a tubular terminal penetrating the connector attachment hole; an outer seal member surrounding outside the tubular terminal and elastically deformed by being pressed against a tire wheel to provide a seal between the tire wheel and the tubular terminal; an inner seal member filled inside the tubular terminal; one or more rod-shaped terminals penetrating the inner seal member; a plurality of communication holes formed at a plurality of positions in a circumferential direction in an intermediate portion in an axial direction of the tubular terminal; and a plurality of seal communication portions integrally formed with one or both of the outer seal member and the inner seal member and arranged in the plurality of communication holes to transmit, to the inner seal member, elastic force toward the tubular terminal by the elastic deformation of the outer seal member.
Multi-phase connector for electric powertrain system
A multiphase connector for electric powertrain systems includes a terminal block and a plug member that are, at least in part, made from electrically conductive metal. The terminal block has at least one socket surrounding a retaining spring and the plug member has at least one contact pin configured to be inserted in to the at least one socket. The plug member can be engaged with the terminal block without use of installation tools and includes one or more cable gland assembly in contact with a shield of a shielded cable.

An embodiment of a cradle has a cradle body configured to support a printing device. The cradle has first and second printer capture flanges extending from the cradle body proximate a capture end of the cradle body. The cradle has first and second biased latches extending from the cradle body between the capture end and a release end of the cradle body. The cradle has a biased release member movable between a first position and a release position. The cradle has a release linkage supported by the cradle body, the release linkage coupling the biased release member and the first and second biased latches, wherein the release linkage is structured to drive the first and second biased latches from respective locked positions to respective unlocked positions in response to movement of the biased release member from a first position to a release position.

A piece of smart fabric for recognizing an object or a touch gesture includes a first layer and a second layer. The first layer has multiple resistive sensors and multiple capacitive sensors. Each resistive sensor corresponds to each capacitive sensor. Each capacitive sensor includes a first piece of conductive fabric and a second piece of conductive fabric, and each resistive sensor includes a piece of pressure sensing fabric sandwiched between the first piece of conductive fabric and the second piece of conductive fabric of the corresponding capacitive sensor. The second layer has multiple inductive sensors and multiple NFC sensors. Each of the multiple inductive sensors corresponds to each of the NFC sensors. Each inductive sensor and its corresponding NFC sensor share a same coil.

An embodiment of a fastener includes a first mechanical part, the first mechanical part including at least a stud portion, the first mechanical part including a first electrical connector; a second mechanical part, the second mechanical part including at least a socket portion with a spring element and the socket portion, the second mechanical part including a second electrical connector. The stud portion of the first mechanical part and the socket portion of second mechanical part, if separated, are to interlock upon the application of a first force towards each other, and, if interlocked, to separate upon the application of a second force away from each other. The first electrical connector and the second electrical connector are to be electrically connected when the first mechanical part and the mechanical part are interlocked, and first electrical connector and the second electrical connector are to be disconnected when the first mechanical part and second mechanical part are separated.

The memory card body, in certain embodiments, includes a first surface spaced apart from a second surface and a plurality of side surfaces connecting the first surface to the second surface. The memory card also includes a contact pad disposed on at least one side surface of the plurality of side surfaces. The contact pad includes a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer, and an insulating layer disposed between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer.
