Cooperative 3D printing platform
A 3-D printing system comprising a plurality of printers. The printers are motorized to allow movement in X and Y directions or to rotate freely. Each printer may have one or more printheads. Also provided is a surface independent from said printers adapted to receive a printed object.
Connectors for smart windows
This disclosure provides connectors for smart windows. A smart window may incorporate an optically switchable pane. In one aspect, a window unit includes an insulated glass unit including an optically switchable pane. A wire assembly may be attached to the edge of the insulated glass unit and may include wires in electrical communication with electrodes of the optically switchable pane. A floating connector may be attached to a distal end of the wire assembly. The floating connector may include a flange and a nose, with two holes in the flange for affixing the floating connector to a first frame. The nose may include a terminal face that present two exposed contacts of opposite polarity. Pre-wired spacers improve fabrication efficiency and seal integrity of insulated glass units. Electrical connection systems include those embedded in the secondary seal of the insulated glass unit.

Modular electro-magnetic connections and applications thereof
Functional modules of a modular system include a magnet and at least two conductors, at least one of which is movable into the functional module and at least one of which is formed of ferrous material. The movable conductor is biased against movement into the functional module and is positioned such that it contacts a power delivery conductor before the other conductor of the functional module contacts another power delivery conductor. The magnet provides attraction between the functional module and a power delivery module that assists in overcoming the bias against movement of the movable conductor into the functional module.

Plug for use in a wiring duct
A wiring duct plug that does not have a movable part for selecting any of a plurality of conductive lines, and has a high operational reliability is provided. A wiring duct plug can be directly connected to a respectively corresponding conductive line, and comprises a plurality of movable electrode terminals, rotating together with a rotator. At the connection position, at least two but not all of the plurality of movable electrode terminals are joined into one at the base end portion and electrically coupled to one of non-movable electrode terminals, and the remaining movable electrode terminal is electrically coupled to the other non-movable electrode terminal.

Smart window having variable transmittance windowpanes
A window includes: a window frame having an opening defined therein through which an outdoor space and an indoor space communicate with each other; a pair of sashes slidably disposed in the window frame and that slide along an opening direction and a closing direction opposite to the opening direction; variable transmittance windowpanes configured to be fitted in the sashes to open and close the opening together with the sashes depending on sliding of the sashes; the variable transmittance windowpanes having a transmittance variable by electrical connection; first conductive members disposed on the sashes and electrically connected with the variable transmittance windowpanes to supply electric power to the variable transmittance windowpanes; and a second conductive member electrically connected with the first conductive members to supply the electric power to the first conductive members from outside the window frame.
