Systems And Methods for Filling and Flushing Animal Footbaths
The present invention provides improved systems and methods for flushing out animal footbaths at remote locations which do not have a reliable or high pressure water supply. Embodiments of the flushing systems of the present invention preferably include at least one fluid pressurizing pump and one or more large fluid storage tanks which receive water from a source and place it under pressure for use in the system. Embodiments of the flushing systems of the present invention are capable of automatically: taking in water from a low pressure water source; pumping the water into one or more storage tanks to place it under pressure; preventing backflow of the pressurized water; storing the pressurized water until one or more footbaths requires flushing; performing a flushing operation by opening a master valve or a series of valves in parallel; controlling whether the pressurized water remains untreated by flowing through a flush tube or becomes treated with one or more cleaning or disinfecting compounds by flowing through a mixing pipe in communication with one or more chemical tanks, the pressurized water flowing into and flushing out the one or more fouled footbaths; filling the footbaths with fresh disinfecting solution; refilling and re-pressurizing the one or more storage tanks for the next flushing operation; and blowing out any remaining moisture from the system of pipes to reduce bacterial growth and prevent pipe-bursting in freezing weather.
Pet grooming assembly
A pet grooming assembly is provided having a table top, a support frame, a blower motor, and a light source. The table top is used to support a pet being groomed thereon, whereby the pet is maintained by a grooming arm and grooming loop extending above the table top. The blower motor is supported under the table top and connects to a conduit and a manifold. The manifold is disposed along the lower surface of the table top and directs air through a plurality of outlets extending through the table top. The outlets direct air upwards and towards the pet standing on the table top for drying purposes. Additionally, the light sources are integrated within the table top and are disposed below a transparent upper surface thereof. In one configuration, strips of LEDs are provided and used to project light upwards from the table top for inspection of the pet.
Portable Hand-Held Devices for Cleaning an Animal's Paw and Related Methods Thereof
Devices for cleaning an animal's paw and related methods are described herein. Devices include a container having a handle and an opening area adapted to receive the paw. A flexible insertion piece substantially covers the opening area, and a trigger mechanism is connected to the handle. Devices also include an inner container having a plurality of cleaning elements extending radially inward therefrom. Rotation of the inner container to clean the animal's paw is effectuated by engaging the trigger mechanism.
Wet table conversion system
An article of manufacture provides a veterinary procedure wet tabletop extension according to the present invention. The tabletop extension includes an examination table having a solid top surface, a bottom surface, and an outer end extending beyond an end of a veterinary tub table when installed, a drain opening about an outer end of the examination table solid top surface, a shallow basin coupled to the bottom surface of the solid examination table beneath the drain opening, a grate filling the drain opening while permitting fluids to drain into the shallow basin, and a drain line coupled to the shallow basin for providing a drainage path to the veterinary tub table.
Surgical retention apparatus
Embodiments of the instant disclosure relate to surgical retention apparatuses. The apparatus includes a main body, loop, and coupler. The main body includes a top, bottom and the coupler. The loop is symmetrically coupled to the top. The coupler is positioned near the bottom and configured to couple the main body to an object. The coupler is accessible from the bottom. The main body, loop, and/or coupler includes a metal or polymer. The main body is planar. The loop includes an angular planar surface. The coupler includes a tab that extends from the main body, is oriented parallel to the main body, and is oriented towards the bottom. The main body includes parallel voids that extend from the bottom to form the coupler. The loop includes a planar appendage that extends from the top and curvingly terminates at the top to form an aperture and couple to the main body.
