A lighting assembly is presented herein. The lighting assembly includes a receptacle terminal having a connection portion defining an aperture configured to receive a corresponding plug terminal along a longitudinal axis and an attachment portion configured to attach the receptacle terminal to a wire, a terminal housing defining a first oval-shaped opening and an oval-shaped cavity in which the connection portion of the receptacle terminal is disposed, and a terminal housing cover defining a second oval-shaped opening attached to the terminal housing, thereby enclosing the connection portion. The connection portion is sized, shaped, and arranged within the cavity to be movable along a lateral axis that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
VEHICLE CAMERA WITH CONNECTOR SYSTEM FOR HIGH SPEED TRANSMISSION
A vehicular camera includes a front housing portion having a lens, a circuit board having circuitry established thereat, and a rear plastic housing portion having a connector for electrically connecting to a connector end of a wire harness of the vehicle when the camera is disposed at the vehicle. The rear plastic housing portion includes internal wall structure. The connector of the rear plastic housing portion includes a video signal terminal and a ground-connect terminal. An electrically conductive metallic shield element is disposed within the rear plastic housing portion and corresponds with the internal wall structure of the rear plastic housing portion. The video signal terminal is electrically connected to the circuitry of the circuit board, and the ground-connect terminal is electrically connected to the electrically conductive metallic shield element.
Electrical connector housing compatible with two terminal types
An electrical connector housing has a plurality of socket cavities configured to receive single terminal inserts or bus inserts introduced from a rearward section. At least one row of socket cavities is formed as cylindrical cavities extending in the housing in parallel manner along an insertion direction running from the rearward to the forward section. Adjacent cavities in the row are separated by a partition wall. First locking means are provided in the socket cavities for locking in place a single terminal insert arranged in a given cavity. Second locking means are provided for locking in place a bus insert inserted in a corresponding number of socket cavities. The partition walls comprise, in the rearward section, slots extending in the insertion direction to accommodate the bus plate of the bus insert.
Conductor Connection Device as Well as Printed Circuit Board and Utility Meter Comprising Same
A conductor connection device with a contact element at one side thereof, a printed circuit board with the conductor connection device, and a utility meter with the printed circuit board are provided. In order to reduce production costs of the conductor connection device without increasing the production costs of the printed circuit board or the utility meter and without affecting operational safety, the conductor connection device comprises a conductor clamping element that is accessible via the second side thereof, and the printed circuit board comprises a through-hole that is aligned with the conductor clamping element.
Electrical connector
A connector for holding a linear conductor by a first contact portion and a second contact portion is provided. The linear conductor is inserted through an insertion portion. The first contact portion is formed in a pressing portion configured to be deformed elastically to press the linear conductor against the second contact portion. The second contact portion is formed in a fixed portion which is not deformed elastically and the second contact portion has at least one edge portion.
Combination loadbreak and deadbreak temporary grounding device
A combination loadbreak and deadbreak temporary grounding device that includes a conductive body configured to accept a grounded bushing well; a grounded bushing well disposed through the body and having an inner end configured to slip onto a loadbreak mounting clip on a loadbreak mounting bracket and an outer end configured to accept either a loadbreak bushing or a deadbreak bushing for coupling, respectively, to either a loadbreak or deadbreak elbow connector; and a grounding cable electrically connected to the conductive body.
Spring loaded locking clamp for jumper cables
Herein is disclosed a jumper cable clamp which includes a housing having an elongated arm having a head portion and a second end configured to mount to the jumper cable and hold the jumper cable in coaxial alignment with the elongated axis. First and second jaws are mounted adjacent the head portion perpendicular to the elongated axis. The first jaw is electrically coupled to the jumper cable. The clamp further includes a lever assembly coupled to one of the first and second jaws for moving the jaw between a clamping position wherein the first and second jaws are sufficiently close together to clamp onto the terminal and an open position wherein the first and second jaws are sufficiently spaced apart to permit the terminal to be free from the jaws. The clamp further includes a lock mechanism for locking the first and second jaws in their clamping position.
High-current connector
The invention relates to a high-current plug connector (1) for an electrical connection between a first line (11) and a second line (12), comprising: a plug pin (2) that can be connected to the first line (11), a plug socket (3) that can be connected to the second line (12), a contact cage (4), which is arranged between the plug pin (2) and the plug socket (3) and is designed to establish electrical contact between the plug pin (2) and the plug socket, a spring element (5), which exerts a preload (F) in the axial direction (X-X) of the high-current plug connector, and a flexible connection element (6), by means of which the plug pin (2) can be connected to the first line (11) and/or by means of which the plug socket (3) can be connected to the second line (12).
