The present invention additionally relates to a printed circuit board assembly (2) with at least one such edge connector.
VEHICLE WINDOW GLASS WITH TERMINAL
A vehicle window glass with a terminal includes a glass plate, and a terminal connected, by lead-free solder, to an electrically conductive layer disposed on a surface of the glass plate, wherein the terminal at least one leg connected to the electrically conductive layer by the lead-free solder, and wherein at least one portion of the leg is covered with a thermal insulating member.
MAGNETIC CONNECTOR AND GROUP OF MAGNETIC CONNECTORS
A magnetic connector for connecting an electrical unit to an electrical consumer unit includes at least one magnet, a conductive metal part secured to this magnet, a connecting cable fixed to the conductive metal part, and a cap made of plastic material overmoulded on the connecting cable, the conductive metal part and the magnet, except for a contact surface of the magnet intended to make contact with a metal part of the electrical consumer unit.
Pin adapter type cable connectors
The present disclosure provides pin adapter type cable connectors used to terminate electrical conductors into mechanical connectors or other terminations typically found in electrical equipment. The connectors include a connector body having a conductor bore to receive a bare portion of an electrical conductor, a fastener that is coupled to the connector body and used to secure the bare portion of an electrical conductor to the connector body, and a pin adapter having an adapter body that can be removably connected to the connector body and a pin extending from the adapter body.
High-power electrical feeder connector
An electrical connector includes conductive male and female contacts and insulating inner and outer sleeves, and connects first and second electrical wires end-to-end. The contacts can be attached to corresponding conductors of the first and second wires. The male contact includes an elongated pin; the female contact includes a receptacle. Inserting the pin into the receptacle results in mechanical engagement of, and electrical continuity between, the assembled contacts. The assembled contacts can be positioned within the compressible inner sleeve, which extends beyond the ends of the assembled contacts. The inner sleeve, with the assembled contacts therein, can be positioned within the rigid outer sleeve, which extends at least as far as the inner sleeve. Compression of the inner sleeve by the ends of the outer sleeve frictionally engages the ends of the inner sleeve with the corresponding wires.
BREAKAWAY CONNECTORS FOR COAXIAL CABLES
A breakaway coaxial cable connector includes a conductive body configured to engage a cable. The conductive body is configured to be selectively coupled to an interface port to maintain electrical connectivity between the cable and the interface during operation of the connector when a first tension force below a predetermined threshold level is applied between the cable and the interface port, and the conductive body is configured to be selectively de-coupled from the interface port so as to interrupt electrical connectivity between the cable and the interface port during operation of the connector when a second tension force above the predetermined threshold level is applied between the cable and the interface port.
Spring Loaded Locking Clamp For Jumper Cables
Herein is disclosed a jumper cable clamp which includes a housing having an elongated arm having a head portion and a second end configured to mount to the jumper cable and hold the jumper cable in coaxial alignment with the elongated axis. First and second jaws are mounted adjacent the head portion perpendicular to the elongated axis. The first jaw is electrically coupled to the jumper cable. The clamp further includes a lever assembly coupled to one of the first and second jaws for moving the jaw between a clamping position wherein the first and second jaws are sufficiently close together to clamp onto the terminal and an open position wherein the first and second jaws are sufficiently spaced apart to permit the terminal to be free from the jaws. The clamp further includes a lock mechanism for locking the first and second jaws in their clamping position.
FEED THROUGH VARISTORS WITH THERMALLY-ACTIVATED OVERRIDE
A varistor (50) comprising: a feed-through conductor (52) and a varistor disc (72) interposed between, and electrically connected to, conductor layers disposed on opposite surfaces of the varistor disc (72), the conductor layers being electrically isolated from one another; wherein the varistor disc (72) comprises a through aperture (60) through which the feed-through conductor extends; a first one of the conductor layers is electrically connected to the feed-through conductor; a second one of the conductor layers is, in normal use, permanently electrically connected to ground the varistor (50). This configuration enables one side of the disc (72) to be connected to the feed-through terminal, and the other side of the disc (72) to be connected to a ground plane, such as an earthed bulkhead of a wall or cabinet, via a metal plate forming part of the varistor (50) housing.
