HIGH POWER CONNECTOR
20170237194 · 2017-08-17 · ·

A high power electrical connector includes a plug and receptacle for use in a power transmission system. The plug includes a wire conductor attached to a mounting end and a circular contacting portion extending from a second end. The plug is configured to mate with a receptacle connector having a sleeve for engaging the circular extension and a mounting end for connection to a conductive wire. A contacting ring made from a braid provides a low resistance interface between the plug and receptacle minimizing the potential for heat buildup across the interface and minimizing electrical failure.

High-current electrical connector and electrical connector system

A high-current electrical connector (1) is codable for use with a certain mating electrical connector and flexibly and comfortably adaptable to the conditions of a tight installation space in which the high-current electrical connector is used. The insulating body (14) of the high-current electrical connector is retained on the pin contact (11) such that said insulating body can be rotated about the pin axis (S). Thus, the mating electrical connector (4) connected thereto, coded therefor and aligned therewith can be rotatably retained such that the angled cable outlet (42) of the mating electrical connector can be flexibly oriented within the installation space as required.

A contact includes: a spring member constituted of at least one thin plate that has electrical conductivity and elasticity, the spring member causing elastic deformation when being sandwiched between at least one conductor pattern of a printed wiring board and at least one conductive member different from the printed wiring board; a housing made of resin that surrounds at least a part of the spring member from both sides at least across a deformation direction of respective portions of the spring member so as to support the spring member on the printed wiring board; and at least a pair of engaging portions, the respective engaging portions being formed in the spring member and the housing, the engaging portions engaging with one another when the housing is arranged in a position surrounding the spring member, so as to secure at least a part of the spring member to at least a part of the housing.

Corrosion Protected Communication Connections And Related Methods

Corrosion within a flangeless connector, or at an associated connection of a device or medium (e.g., cable), used in a wireless base station may be reduced by incorporating a seating member, e.g., an O-ring, between the connector and a connector port. Conductive plating selectively applied within the connector port may provide a low-resistance ground connection between the port and the connector, while a non-conductive coating selectively applied to a surface against which the seating member is seated may form a weather-tight seal. The connection between the connector and the connector port is thereby protected from moisture, while exposed surfaces of the connector port re protected by the non-conductive coating.

Electrical contact arrangement for an electric motor and method for producing the same

Electrical contact arrangement for an electric motor and method for producing same. The present invention relates to an electrical contact arrangement for an electric motor, in particular for an EC drive of a motor vehicle fan, comprising an elongate contact which runs perpendicular to a planar basic conductor, wherein the basic conductor is in the form of a leadframe, and a conductive cohesive and/or form-fitting and/or force-fitting connection is provided between the leadframe and the contact. The present invention also relates to a method for the production of said electrical contact arrangement.

Busbar connector assembly

A busbar connector assembly includes a dynamic head configured to be secured to one of a busbar and an electronic device, a static head configured to be secured to the other of the busbar and the electronic device, and a connector configured to flexibly secure the dynamic head and the static head so that the dynamic head is capable of moving relative to the static head. Other aspects of the busbar connector assembly and methods of connecting an electronic device to a busbar are further disclosed.

KELVIN CONTACT ASSEMBLY IN A TESTING APPARATUS FOR INTEGRATED CIRCUITS

An electrical Kelvin contact assembly for testing IC testing apparatus that uses an assembly design that reduces the tolerance to a near negligible range. The assembly does not use any screws, dowel pins, adhesives or welding to fasten the electrical contacts to the housing. The design of the assembly uses rows of contacts with specially designed protrusions that sit snugly in openings located on three plate-like layers. These layers contain the contacts in the horizontal plane by securing the protrusions in the opening, as well as in the vertical plane by means of a sandwich between three separate layers. A second contact is slid into back slits formed by the three layers.

Separable clasp connectors and die sets and methods for locking and unlocking such connectors

A separable clasp connector is provided that has first and second parts that are pivotable with respect to one another by a die set. The clasp connector includes one or more die alignment features to ensure proper alignment with the die set so as to apply an unlocking force in a predetermined direction. Die sets and methods also provided to move a separable clasp connector back-and-forth among a locked position and an unlocked position.

Modular domestic appliance with electrically conductive members
09820398 · 2017-11-14 ·

The invention is an apparatus comprising an electrically powered appliance with electrically conductive members mounted to the appliance that both support and supply electrical power to the appliance. The electrically conductive members comprise insulative housings with openings that fit over connectors attached to a wall. Both the housings and the connectors comprise electrical conductors. When the connectors are fitted inside the housings, the electrical conductors mate to provide electrical power to the appliance. Furthermore, the appliance is suspended from a wall to which the connectors are mounted. The appliance can be modular or have particular dimensions that allow it to function within an automated storage and retrieval system. Finally, the appliance may be fitted with an outlet to accommodate a detachable power cord.

COAXIAL CONNECTION SYSTEM FOR RF SIGNALS WITH HIGH RF PERFORMANCE LEVELS

The invention relates to a coaxial connection system in which solid insulating structures are used and it is provided a lengthening of the guide portion of the connectors, while ensuring an axial immobilization of the ground contacts independently of the locking device that mechanically locks the plug to the jack when they are in mutual connection configuration.
