ALTERNATING CURRENT INLET UNIT
The present subject matter relates to Alternating Current (AC) inlet units. An AC inlet unit includes a socket to receive a power supply cord and a ground pin and a second pin, each disposed in the socket. The AC inlet unit further includes a lead connected to the second pin. The lead is disposed farther from the ground pin as compared to the second pin.
Three-phase electrical connector securing apparatus with flexible inserts
An apparatus for locking three-phase electrical connectors together. An apparatus for locking three-phase electrical connectors together, such apparatus including flexible inserts wherein the apparatus is configured for holding and locking three-phase electrical connectors of different sizes. A method of locking three-phase electrical connectors together using an apparatus for locking three-phase electrical connectors together.
MULTI-POSITION CONVERSION DEVICE AND A CONVERSION SOCKET WITH THE MULTI-POSITION CONVERSION DEVICE
A multi-position conversion device and a conversion socket with the multi-position conversion device; the first pin, the second pin, the first connecting sheet and the second connecting sheet are installed together onto the main frame to modularize and integrate the conversion device; therefore, only one main frame is needed to complete the installation of the first pin, the second pin, the first connecting sheet and the second connecting sheet, and this can effectively decrease the volume of the multi-position conversion device and thus decrease the volume and weight of the whole conversion socket, prevent the conversion socket from sagging due to gravity and thus increase the corresponding user experience and safety; meanwhile, after being modularized, the multi-position conversion device is installed directly into the housing and thus can decrease the assembling steps, reduce the assembling difficulty and finally improve the assembling efficiency.
Safety outlet
Disclosed herein is a safety outlet. The safety outlet includes a casing having at least one hole into which a pin of a plug is inserted; and at least one drain pipe forming a drain channel for independently communicating the at least one hole and the outside of the casing; wherein the drain channel provided in the at least one drain pipe each serves as drain passage separated from each other, and the drain pipe is partitioned so as to maintain sealing between inside of the casing and the drain channel, wherein a contact portion connected to a power terminal arranged outside of the at least one drain pipe is provided in the at least one drain pipe.
SHIELDED ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR SYSTEM WITH INTERNAL SPRING COMPONENT
A shielded electrical connector system for electrically and mechanically connecting a component to a power source is disclosed. The connector system includes a male connector assembly with a male terminal, a non-conductive internal male housing that receives the male terminal, and a conductive external male housing that receives an extent of the internal male housing. This terminal includes a receiver and side walls with a contact arm that extends across an aperture in the side wall. An internal spring member with at least one spring arm resides within the male terminal receiver. A female connector assembly includes a female terminal with a receptacle that receives both the male terminal and the spring member. A non-conductive internal female housing receives the female terminal and an extent of the male connector assembly. A conductive external female housing that receives: (i) an extent of the internal female housing, (ii) an extent of the internal male housing, and (iii) an extent of the external male housing.
UNDERWATER MATEABLE AND UN-MATEABLE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
A receptacle unit of a connector for sealably engaging and disengaging contacts therein can include one or more closed inner chambers. At least one of the one or more inner chambers being configured to contain a receptacle contact. Each receptacle contact can be configured to engage a plug contact of a plug unit of a connector. A closed cavity can be at least partially in contact with each inner chamber. The closed cavity can contain a deformable material. At least a portion of the closed cavity can be configured to be movable with respect to another portion of the closed cavity to permit balancing of pressure of the deformable material within the closed cavity to pressure outside of the closed cavity.
Pluggable Electrical Outlet System
Pluggable electrical outlet system is provided including a recessed wall box which may interchangeably receive various mating sockets to provide a universal outlet system. The pluggable electrical outlet system further includes a junction box for distributing power lines, a circuit break box with universal connectors, and extenders. The extenders are configured to run power from the circuit breaker and the junction boxes to the recessed wall boxes. The recessed wall box comprises a female connector structured to interchangeably receive a male connector located on each of the series of sockets. The pluggable electrical outlet system allows homeowners to customize and update outlets throughout a home or other building in which the system is installed.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE, INLET UNIT AND WELDING METHOD
An electronic device includes an inlet including a ground terminal having a first surface and a second surface opposite from the first surface, a first casing metal plate configured to hold the inlet and contacting the first surface of the ground terminal, and a second casing metal plate contacting the second surface of the ground terminal.
Block terminal for motor and method of manufacturing same
A block terminal for a motor includes a block base, a busbar, bushings, and fixing nuts. The busbar is disposed in the block base and includes end portions protruding outward from the block base. The end portions include coupling holes. The bushings are mounted on sides of the block base. The fixing nuts are insert-mounted in the coupling holes of the busbar.
Multi-phase connector for electric powertrain system
A multiphase connector for electric powertrain systems includes a terminal block and a plug member that are, at least in part, made from electrically conductive metal. The terminal block has at least one socket surrounding a retaining spring and the plug member has at least one contact pin configured to be inserted in to the at least one socket. The plug member can be engaged with the terminal block without use of installation tools and includes one or more cable gland assembly in contact with a shield of a shielded cable.
