The present disclosure relates to an aerosol delivery device. The aerosol delivery device may include a control body with a first connector portion and a cartridge with a second connector portion. The first connector portion and the second connector portion may be configured to releasably engage each other. One of the first connector portion and the second connector portion may include an extension and the other of the first connector portion and the second connector portion may include a receptacle configured to receive the extension. The extension may include contact sections positioned along a longitudinal length thereof. The contact sections may be electrically insulated from one another by at least one spacer and may be configured to form an electrical connection with the receptacle. A related assembly method is also provided.

Each hole comprises a through hole and a sealing chamber surrounding the through hole. A stud is used for each hole. Each stud comprises a seal support flange and a sealing device. Each side of the seal support flange comprises a system for making an electrical connection. The seal support flange is sized to fit within the sealing chamber. The sealing device is located between the support flange and the sealing chamber. The stud is secured to the hole on the opposite side of the dielectric insert from the support flange and the sealing chamber to compress the sealing device between the support flange and the sealing chamber and cause the sealing device to fill the space of the sealing chamber and form a seal between the stud and the sealing chamber.

A wiring adapter is provided which controls the shear point for a wiring system in a traffic control box and other electrical panels. The wiring adapter includes a bottom segment which is securely mounted in the control box. Incoming wires to the control box are connected to the bottom segment. The top segment of the wiring adapter includes connections for wires running from the wiring adapter to the power or control elements in the control box. The wiring adapter uses a quick release retention mechanism to secure the top segment to the bottom segment. When a triggering event occurs, the quick release mechanism separates the top segment from the bottom segment to ensure that the shear point for the wiring system occurs at the wiring adapter.
