Extension Cord System
An extension cord system includes an electronic device that may store audio data. A case is provided and the electronic device is removably positioned therein. A pair of headphones is provided. The headphones are selectively electrically coupled to the electronic device. An extension cord is selectively electrically coupled between the electronic device and the pair of headphones. The extension cord engages the case when the extension cord is electrically coupled to the electronic device. Thus, the extension cord is inhibited from being unplugged from the electronic device.
Field terminable single pair ethernet connector
A communication connector has an outer housing with an opening, a shielding wrap at least partially enclosing the outer housing, and a contact carrier assembly configured to be interested into the opening of the outer housing. The contact carrier assembly at least partially encloses at least two contacts each with an insulation displacement contact (IDC). The contact carrier assembly also has an integrated wire cap that utilizes a hinge feature to press cable conductors of a cable into their respective IDCs.
Self-locking connector
A self-locking connector provides an electrical connection between sources, equipment, devices, and the like. The self-locking connector generally includes first and second connector components with first and second housings that include corresponding electrically conductive elements, first and second magnetic elements, and first and second lock elements. One housing includes stationary and movable housing components. The connector components are brought into a coupled state with the corresponding electrically conductive elements providing an electrical connection. As the connector components are brought into the coupled state, the movable housing component automatically moves and brings the locking elements into locked engagement. The magnetic elements urge the connector components in the coupled state and the locking elements in locked engagement. The movable housing component is manually moved to bring the lock components out of locked engagement and the connector components out of the coupled state to break the electrical connection.
Modular Electrical Accessory
A modular electrical accessory for a building has a housing for attaching to a building structure and an electrical backplane mounted in the housing. The electrical backplane is configured to be electrically wired to an electrical circuit associated with the building. A user-replaceable electrical accessory module is removably connectable by a user to an electrical bus and a control bus of the modular electrical accessory. The electrical bus enables transfer of electrical power between a connected user-replaceable electrical accessory module and the electrical backplane, while the control bus enables control signals to be communicated between a connected user-replaceable electrical accessory module and the electrical backplane for controlling delivery of electrical power to an electrical device based on the control signals
Plug-in connector with ground terminal region
A heavy-duty plug-in connector has a ground terminal that can be conveniently assembled and can comprise the greatest possible number of electrical crimp plug-in contacts (4,5). For this purpose, ground plug-in contacts (4′, 5′), likewise of a crimping configuration, are fitted in formations (13, 13′, 23, 23′) of the contact carriers (1, 2) for electrical contacting with metallic protective earthing elements (3, 3′, 3″, 3″). For said contacting, the formations (13, 13′, 23, 23′) have a respective opening (130, 130′) or passage (230, 230′). In the formations (13, 13′, 23, 23′), not only ground plug-in contacts (4′, 5′) but also further plug-in contacts (4, 5) are arranged, so that the number of plug-in contacts (4, 5) of the plug-in connector is increased considerably.
Coupler/Stop for Mounting to Cable
A coupler/stop for mounting relative to a cable is provided. The coupler/stop can be used in combination with an adapter system that facilitates convenient access to one or more adapters, e.g., DVI-D to HDMI adapter(s), Micro-HDMI to HDMI adapter(s), Mini-HDMI to HDMI adapter(s), Mini-DisplayPort to HDMI adapter(s), DisplayPort to HDMI adapter(s), VGA to HDMI adapter(s), MHL to HDMI adapter(s), and/or USB to HDMI adapter(s). The coupler/stop includes a pair of mating portions and a pair of inserts of selected diameter. A pair of mounting screws can be used for securing the mating portions to each other with the pair of inserts positioned therewithin.
INSULATING HOUSING AND ELECTICAL CONNECTOR
An insulating housing and an electrical connector including the insulating housing are provided. The electrical connector, for transmitting power and signal with a mating electrical connector, comprises a body portion, a plurality of power terminals, a power mating portion, at least one signal terminal, and a signal mating portion. The power mating portion has a plurality of column bodies extending from a front surface thereof and accommodating the plurality of power terminals therein. The signal mating portion is connected with the body portion and located over one side of the power mating portion and accommodating at least one signal terminal.
COIL SPRING AND CONNECTOR WITH A COIL SPRING
A coil spring has a longitudinal component located within the coil spring, where the longitudinal component runs generally along the direction of a longitudinal axis of the coil spring and where the longitudinal component is in contact with the coil spring, characterized in that the longitudinal component biases the coil spring into a shape different from its natural shape and/or from the shape into which the coil spring is biased by a groove in which the coil spring is accommodated. Moreover, the coil spring may be shaped by means of the described longitudinal component. Further, a connector part is disclosed that has the described coil spring and is configured for being connected with a mating connector part. And finally, a connector is disclosed which has the described connector part and the mating connector part.
Rotary connector
A rotary connector includes: a first housing; a second housing; a bayonet ring including a locked portion to be locked to a locking portion of the first housing, which forms a bonded state by rotating by a predetermined angle in a ready state, so that its rotation is prevented; and a connector position assurance that is prevented from moving from a first position in the ready state, and in the bonded state, that is moveable to a second position and maintains a state in which the locked portion is locked to the locking portion.
Contact device and contact system
A contact device includes an outer housing delimiting an inner space and an inner housing arranged in the inner space, the inner housing having a first recess. The contact device includes a contact element arranged in the inner space and a sealing element arranged between the contact element and the outer housing. The sealing element seals the inner space from the environment. The contact element has a second recess on an outside of the contact element aligned with the first recess. The contact device includes a contact securing device movable along the first recess to engage the second recess of the contact element.
