Control box for generator set
A control box for a generator set, including a support structure configured to be mounted to a rail. The support structure can include a first planar panel configured to be mounted to the rail, and a second planar panel offset from the first planar panel and configured to be mounted to the rail. The control box can also include a top cover configured to be connected to the first planar panel and the second planar panel and to cover a top portion of the support structure, a first side cover configured to be connected to the first planar panel and the second planar panel and substantially perpendicular to the top cover, and a second side cover configured to be offset from the first side cover and configured to be connected to the first planar panel and the second planar panel.
Extension member for rotary switch actuation
The disclosure describes a switch extension device and method of installing such a device on a unit of electrical equipment with a closable housing containing a switch and electrically charged components, such as a transformer with a rotary oil safety switch inside the transformer terminal cabinet. The device includes a switch coupling member for mechanically manipulating a switch between at least a first switch position and a second switch position. The switch is disposed inside the closed housing containing components that are electrically charged when the switch is in the first position and not electrically charged when the switch is in the second position. The device also has an extension member with an external portion that extends outside of the closed housing for access by the user without opening the closed housing. Physical manipulation of the external portion of the extension member is mechanically translated to the switch coupling member for mechanically manipulating the switch between at least the first switch position and the second switch position.

Power strips with voice message playback
Power strips are provided having voice message playback capabilities, which enable a user to selectively playback stored voice messages or verbal memorandum identifying the particular electronic devices plugged into the power strip outlets. In this manner, a user need only trigger playback of a voice message to determine the identity of an electronic device plugged into a given outlet. This may be particularly beneficial when several electronic devices are plugged into the power strip, which is located underneath a desk, behind an entertainment center, or in another difficult-to-access area. In certain embodiments, the power strip enables the user to record personalized voice messages identifying the electronic devices plugged into the power strip outlets, possibly along with additional information pertaining to the plugged-in devices and considered pertinent by the user. Embodiments of the power strips described herein may also be beneficially used by the blind and visually impaired.
ELECTRICAL DEVICE AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides an electrical device, including: a first sub-mechanism, capable of switching between an electrically conductive state and an electrically isolated state; a second sub-mechanism, capable of switching between an electrically conductive state and an electrically isolated state; when one of the first sub-mechanism and the second sub-mechanism is electrically isolated, the other of the first sub-mechanism and the second sub-mechanism is electrically conductive.

Single component lock mechanism of a pedestal
A single, unitary component for a pedestal that houses utility/communication lines/connections. The unitary component includes a tool engageable portion for rotation thereby and a hooked finger extending from the tool engageable portion and moving in an arc during rotation for engagement with a catch. The single, unitary component includes a resilient finger integral to and extending from at least one of the tool engageable portion or the hooked finger and having an engagement distal end. The engagement distal end of the resilient finger is engageable with a surface with the resilient finger resiliently deforming during rotation of the single, unitary component in a rotational direction to move the hook away from the catch and the resilient finger resiliently biasing the hook toward interaction with the catch.
Network element equipment shelf with configurable power location
A network device includes a support structure configured to support communication equipment, the support structure including at least a non-conductive vertical substrate, a pair of conductive strips arranged on a front-facing surface of the non-conductive vertical substrate and configured in electrical communication with a power source, and one or more alignment blocks, where each of the one or more alignment blocks includes a touch-proof cage configuration that has spacing dimensions configured to prevent a normal-sized human finger from contacting the pair of conductive strips to reduce the risk of electric shock. Each of the one or more alignment blocks includes slots configured to guide one or more power connectors of a circuit board for making electrical contact with the pair of conductive strips when the circuit board is installed on the support structure.
