Battery powered fish tape
11349284 · 2022-05-31 · ·

A powered fish tape having a rotatable drum is described for pulling electrical wires through conduit or other enclosed regions. The fish tape utilizes an electric motor and a gear assembly for extending or retracting the fish tape and wires attached thereto. The fish tape includes a powered mode and a manual mode. When placed in the manual mode, an operator may manually rotate the drum to extend or retract the fish tape.

REPAIRING TOOL FOR ELECTRIC WIRE THREADING HEAD
20220161340 · 2022-05-26 ·

A repairing tool for an electric wire threading head for pressing and squeezing a drawing-in wire of the electric wire includes a first holding part, a second holding part opposite to the first holding part, and two positioning bolts for fastening the first holding part and the second holding part. A first half screw hole and a second half screw hole are protrudingly formed on the first holding part and the second holding part to form a complete screw hole. The drawing-in wire is pressed and squeezed through the positive rotation or reverse rotation of the repairing tool to form an external screw thread part and increase a screw thread area, and the surface of the external screw thread part is applied with instant dry adhesive and rotated into a pulling head, so that the drawing-in wire is closely adhered to the pulling head and tensile strength is improved.

Protective outlet cover
11742644 · 2023-08-29 · ·

A protective cover for an electrical device for use during construction includes a front wall, a pair of end walls, and a pair of side walls. The end walls extend from opposite sides of the front wall. The side walls extend from opposite sides of the front wall. The front wall, the end walls, and the side walls define a cavity configured to enclose an electrical device. The cover can be placed over the device during construction to limit the ingress of debris.

Mounting system for electrical boxes
11333494 · 2022-05-17 ·

A system and leveling device for installing an electrical box or ring on a wall stud, and a process for installation using the same. The leveling device has a generally planar elongated substrate having a horizontal bubble level on a front face and positioning pins on a rear face. The positioning pins are configured for insertion into gang screw holes on the electrical box or ring. The system includes cross-stud braces for spanning the distance between adjacent wall studs. The electrical box or ring has pass-through slots to receive the cross-stud braces so that the electrical box or ring can be leveled using the leveling device prior to attaching the cross-stud braces to the wall studs.

WIRE INSPECTION SYSTEM, WIRE INSPECTION METHOD, AND ELECTRIC WIRE

A wire inspection system has a memory unit which stores response signals obtained through wire inspection at a first time point for a plurality of electric wires constituting a wire group identifying individual electric wires, an inspection unit which performs the wire inspection on a subject electric wire selected from the wire group at a second time point later than the first time point, and an analysis unit which compares, for the subject electric wire, the response signal at the first time point retrieved from the memory unit, with the response signal obtained by the inspection unit at the second time point, and, if a difference exists between the two response signals, judges that damage exists on the subject electric wire.
