IoT-based cable used in cable management system

A cable comprises: a cable core; and a cable sheath layer formed on the outside of the cable core, wherein the cable sheath layer has, on the outer surface thereof, a pattern corresponding to a binary code. A recognition rate is improved, and a problem of the productivity of the cable being reduced may be prevented by adjusting the widths of the pattern, corresponding to the binary code printed on the cable, in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction, and a plurality of patterns corresponding to the binary code printed on the cable are provided to prevent, even when the cable is buried in the ground or contacts a facility and a pattern corresponding to some binary patterns is not exposed, a pattern corresponding to the other binary patterns from being exposed and unrecognizable.

POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR AN AIRCRAFT SERVICE PIT

The present disclosure relates to a device for unstowing an electrical supply cable from a storage chamber disposed within an underground service pit. The cable is configured to electrically connect to an electrical power supply at a first end and to connect to an external power socket of an aircraft at a second end for supplying electrical power to the aircraft. The device includes a cable guiding wheel that is disposed at ground level above the underground service pit and configured to receive the cable. The device also includes a motor coupled to the cable guiding wheel that is configured to drive the cable guiding wheel. Upon activation, the motor rotates the cable guiding wheel to generate a pulling force on the cable to at least partially lift the cable out of the storage chamber.

Pliers

Plies have a first and a second plier limb which are rotatably held relative to one another on an axis of rotation an articulation region and form a jaw region on one side of the articulation region and handle sections on the other side of the articulation region. The jaw region has a cutting pattern with first and second cutting edges which, in the closed position of the pliers, are crossed with respect to a shear plane and which have a central plane running through the axis of rotation, perpendicularly to the shear plane in the closed position. The cutting edges are crossed to a greater degree in a region remote from the articulation, in the opening direction of the pliers, than in a region closer to the articulation.

Armored cable cutter with cutting blade retention

A cutting head for a hydraulic power tool includes a first jaw that includes a first ear configured with a slot for receiving a corresponding ear. The second jaw includes a second ear with a third ear bore that aligns in between a first ear bore and to a second ear bore of the first ear when the second ear is coupled in the slot of the first ear. The cutting head further includes a spring-biased flange coupled to a blade mounted to the first jaw and a retained coupled at a fixed position to a blade mounted to the second jaw. The retainer is configured to receive the flange during a cutting action such that the flange prevents the blades from shifting out of alignment during the cutting action.

System, method and apparatus for spray-on application of a wire pulling lubricant

A system, method, and apparatus lubricating a wire or cable during manufacturing, wherein the wire is aligned with an entry to a spraying enclosure and passes through a first seal of the spraying enclosure. Lubricant is sprayed onto the wire inside of the spraying enclosure while the unapplied, but sprayed, lubricant is collected at the bottom of the spraying enclosure. The wire passes through a second seal of the spraying enclosure, is aligned, and exits from the spraying enclosure.
