System, method and apparatus for spray-on application of a wire pulling lubricant
A system, method, and apparatus lubricating a wire or cable during manufacturing, wherein the wire is aligned with an entry to a spraying enclosure and passes through a first seal of the spraying enclosure. Lubricant is sprayed onto the wire inside of the spraying enclosure while the unapplied, but sprayed, lubricant is collected at the bottom of the spraying enclosure. The wire passes through a second seal of the spraying enclosure, is aligned, and exits from the spraying enclosure.
Leveling tool
A leveling tool configured to be releasably attached to a pipe includes a level carried by a main body and a pair of first and second articulating arms extending from the main body. One or more magnets are carried by the arms. Each of the first and second arms is configured articulate so as wrap at least part way around a pipe. The first and second magnets are configured to releasably attach the first and second arms to the pipe.

IOT-BASED CABLE USED IN CABLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A cable comprises: a cable core; and a cable sheath layer formed on the outside of the cable core, wherein the cable sheath layer has, on the outer surface thereof, a pattern corresponding to a binary code. A recognition rate is improved, and a problem of the productivity of the cable being reduced may be prevented by adjusting the widths of the pattern, corresponding to the binary code printed on the cable, in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction, and a plurality of patterns corresponding to the binary code printed on the cable are provided to prevent, even when the cable is buried in the ground or contacts a facility and a pattern corresponding to some binary patterns is not exposed, a pattern corresponding to the other binary patterns from being exposed and unrecognizable.
Disconnect system for an auxiliary side ramp for a modular cable protector
An auxiliary side ramp for use with modular cable protectors includes a number of tool engagement features. A tool can be used to removably engage these tool engagement features and allows a user to exert an upward force to disengage the edge connectors on adjacent auxiliary side ramps, and also disengage the auxiliary side ramp from the underlying cable protector. For example, the tool engagement features can be slots in the top surface of the auxiliary side ramp with undercuts adjacent to the lower ends of the slots. A tool with vertical rods is manually inserted into the slots to disengage the cable protectors. Horizontal projections at the bottom of the vertical rods engage the undercuts in the slots, and allow the user to disengage adjacent auxiliary side ramps by lifting upward on the tool.
System, method and apparatus for positioning and training flexible jumpers
The present invention includes a flexible jumper jig which is reconfigurable to replicate the end positions of a flexible jumper as it would be on an installed substation. According to a further preferred embodiment, an exemplary system of the present invention may include a framework forming three orthogonal axes and repositionable tooling mounts for end fittings. According to another aspect of the present invention, an x-axis oriented rail may preferably hold a tooling mount which is configurable to be rotated about its axis to allow for alternate tooling mount orientations. Further, a y-axis oriented rail may be perpendicular to the x-axis rail and may be fixed. Still further, a z-axis oriented rail may be perpendicular to and slide along the y-axis rail. Additionally, a second tooling mount may be attached to the z-axis rail.
Electrical conduit spacing device
An electrical conduit spacing device to organize spacing of an electrical conduit at a predetermined location, the electrical conduit spacing device including a main body, a plurality of magnetic portions disposed on a first side of the main body and a second side of the main body opposite with respect to the first side to attract the electrical conduit thereto, a plurality of measuring sticks perpendicularly disposed on at least a portion of a bottom surface of the main body with respect to a direction to indicate a distance of a space between the electrical conduit, and another object or surface, and a butterfly nut disposed on at least a portion of the main body to move at least one of the plurality of measuring sticks in response to movement of the butterfly nut.
Portable hand tool
Tools for operating on an object, such as a wire or cable are provided. The tool includes a housing and a working head assembly. The working head assembly has a movable section and fixed section secured to the housing. The movable section has a first end movably secured to a first end of the fixed section. The movable section has a second end that is releasably secured to a second end of the fixed section using a latch pin. The working head assembly also includes a latch pin stop that is positioned in the second end of the movable section. The latch pin stop is configured to prevent the latch pin from releasably securing the movable section to the fixed section until the movable section is properly aligned with the fixed section.
System for spiking, i.e. exploring voltage, in electric cables
A system (1) for spiking, i.e. exploring voltage, in electric cables (5) comprises a first clamping jaw (3) and a second clamping jaw (4) to lock a portion of an electric cable (5) in a clamping position (7), an elongated metal blade (8) which can be displaced between a retracted position and an extended position in the clamping position (7), a hydraulic actuator (9) to displace the blade (8), with respect to the first and second clamping jaws (3, 4), from the retracted position into the extended position, a pump (10) adapted to increase the pressure of a hydraulic liquid acting on the hydraulic actuator (9), a hand-held remote control (12) for remotely actuating and controlling the pump (10), wireless actuation communication means (13) adapted to provide pump actuation signals from the remote control (12) to the pump (10).
