Fueling station for unmanned aerial vehicle of the vertical takeoff types
An unmanned self-sustained fuel dispensing station for fuels of all sorts (gasoline, pesticides, water, fertilizers etc.) a tank, docking, and coupling system for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) of the vertical takeoff types. The station can be independent of public power and communication utilities and can operate by remote control without an on-site attendant. The preferred system has a central command center with a control computer in communication with a station control computer located at one or more satellite stations through a communications link. The station control computer can be controlled remotely by the command center. The station control computer programming has control over the activities of the station through an electrical generation subsystem with a solar array, battery bank, battery charger and standby generator; a fuel dispensing subsystem; a security subsystem with video cameras; a communications link and a status sensor subsystem.
In vehicle inductive power provision system and method
A vehicle inductive power assembly and method for transferring electrical power inductively to an electrical device, in a motorized vehicle. The system includes an inductive power transfer system which is configured to provide the electrical power to the electrical device as well as a communications security system which is configured to establish a secure communications channel between the inductive power transfer system and the electrical device. Following activation of the inductive power transfer system, the communications security system initiates a handshaking procedure between the inductive power transfer system and the electrical device. If the handshaking procedure is successful the communications security system instructs the inductive power transfer system to commence providing the electrical power to the electrical device.
System and method for managing the electrical powering of at least one piece of equipment during the automatic restarting of an internal combustion engine of a vehicle
A system and method for management of electrical powering of at least one piece of electrical equipment by a power supply battery of a motor vehicle including an internal combustion engine. The motor vehicle includes a system for automatically stopping and restarting the internal combustion engine. The system and method: determine a charge status of the power supply battery; compare the charge status of the power supply battery with a predefined threshold value; and control cutting off of the power supply to the at least one piece of electrical equipment during an automatic restarting of the internal combustion engine if the charge status of the power supply battery is lower than the predefined threshold value.
Support device for use with electrical box
A support device can have an opening to receive electrical cable or conduit and a gate that is configured to bend between an open configuration and a closed configuration relative to the opening. A locking tab can be provided configured to be selectively engaged with the gate to secure the gate in the closed configuration.
Power supply system and method for a movable vehicle within a structure
A power supply system and method for a vehicle movable within a structure is provided. The power supply system includes at least one energy source arranged at a fixed location within the structure to transmit energy within the structure, and a receiver, arranged on the vehicle to receive the energy transmitted from the energy source, being configured to convert the energy to electrical power and/or thrust.
Wiring harness and method of assembling the same
There is provided a wiring harness in which a plurality of cables are bound by a plurality of protectors provided at intervals in a longitudinal direction, the wiring harness arranged along an arranging path of a fixed portion. The cables are collectively held by the protectors. The lengths of the plurality of cables between the protectors are made different such that the cables are bent between the protectors.

Circuit board, optoelectronic component and arrangement of optoelectronic components
A circuit board for an optoelectronic semiconductor chip includes an electrically conductive first metal foil, a first electrically insulating foil, an electrically conductive second metal foil, wherein the first electrically insulating foil is applied to the first metal foil at a top side of the first metal foil and mechanically connects thereto, the first electrically insulating foil has a recess in which the first metal foil is exposed, the recess electrically conductively fixes the optoelectronic semiconductor chip to the first metal foil within the recess, the second metal foil is applied at a top side of the first electrically insulating foil, the top side facing away from the first metal foil, and mechanically connects to the electrically insulating foil, the first electrically insulating foil is free of the second metal foil at least in the region of the recess, and the second metal foil electrically contacts the optoelectronic semiconductor chip.
Impact-absorbing wire and cable fixture, system, and related methods
An impact-absorbing wire and/or cable fixture, system, and related methods are disclosed. The impact-absorbing wire fixture apparatus includes a substantially rigid bracket having at least a first arm and a second arm, wherein the first arm is connectable to a utility support structure. A twisted portion is positioned within the second arm, wherein the twisted portion is at least a 90° rotation of the second arm, wherein the twisted portion of the second arm has a width that exceeds a thickness. A fixturing portion is positioned at a distal end of the second arm.
Strut hanger
Technology is provided for a strut hanger for connecting a strut to a hanger rod includes a hook portion configured to engage the exterior surface of the hanger rod, a lever portion, a fulcrum disposed between the hook portion and lever portion, and a strut tab extending from the lever portion and configured to engage a strut. Load placed on the strut tab causes the lever portion to act against the fulcrum to force the hook portion against the hanger rod, thereby supporting the strut from the hanger rods without fasteners attached to the hanging rods. The strut hanger can include a clip extending from the lever portion to engage the hanger rod and maintain a minimum load on the lever.
