WIND HANG OFF
A wind hang off assembly and associated method secures an associated cable to an associated structure. The assembly includes a multi-part housing that when assembled forms first and second openings having cross-sectional dimensions that receive the associated cable therethrough at opposite, first and second ends. The openings communicate with an internal cavity. A multi-part insert receives the cable therethrough, and has an outer conformation dimensioned for receipt in the housing cavity and resists movement relative to the housing. Helical rods have an axial dimension received over an associated portion of the associated cable that is received in the housing. The assembly further includes a mounting member that operatively mounts the housing to the associated structure.
Filament reinforced tapes useful as underwater pipe wrap
A member for use in undersea applications comprising a plurality of conduits assembled into a bundle; the bundle being wrapped with a pressure-sensitive tape comprising a backing, a layer of corrosion-resistant filaments on one surface of the backing, and pressure-sensitive adhesive layer that coats the filaments and binds them to the backing.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING HYDROGEN PRODUCED FROM SEAWATER BASED ON EXISTING OFFSHORE WIND POWER PLANT
The present invention belongs to the field of offshore wind power and, in particular, relates to system for transporting hydrogen produced from seawater and method based on an existing offshore wind power plant. The system comprises a wind generator, a seawater electrolytic cell device and a hydrogen transporting unit, wherein the wind generator is configured for converting wind energy into electric energy, the seawater electrolytic cell device is configured for electrolyzing seawater by making using of electric energy supplied by the wind generator and the hydrogen transporting unit is configured for transporting hydrogen produced by the seawater electrolytic cell device to a land. According to the present invention, by combining offshore wind power with seawater hydrogen production, resource advantages of the offshore wind power plant is utilized fully, so that the seawater hydrogen production cost is lowered.
CONNECTOR FOR CONNECTING TOGETHER UNDERWATER CABLES AND IN PARTICULAR UMBILICAL CABLES FOR RENEWABLE MARINE ENERGY FARMS
A connector for connecting underwater cables includes: a connection housing in which the cables enter parallel to each other and parallel to a first direction; and a handling bar, connected to the connection housing by a linking unit hinged along an axis perpendicular to the first direction.
Irrigation control wiring system
An irrigation control wiring system includes an irrigation control valve box embedded into an earthen surface and defines an interior cavity below the earthen surface. The system further includes a removable cover adapted for installation over a top opening of the valve box and a back plate attached to an interior surface of the removable cover. The back plate includes multiple wire connectors. A bundle of wires passes into the interior cavity through a first opening in the valve box with each wire having a proximal end connected to at least one of the connectors and a distal end connected to a microcontroller remotely disposed from the valve box. Finally, the system includes individual wires, each coupled to a different one of the connectors at a proximal end and at a distal end to a respective sprinkler remotely disposed from the valve box within a sprinkler zone.

Subsea connector with u-shaped configuration
A subsea connector (20) is provided for joining a first cable (2) having a first minimum bending radius (MBR) and a second cable (3) having a second minimum bending radius (MBR). The subsea connector is arranged with a first joint device (21, 53) for connection with the first cable and a second joint device (22, 54) for connection with the second cable (3). The subsea connector comprises a conductive member (25, 57) for transfer of electric power between the first and the second cable (2,3), the conductive member having, in an installed position, a U-shape configuration and the radius of curvature of the subsea connector is less than or equal to the first and second minimum bending radii such that at least a portion of the first cable (2) extending from connection with the first joining device (21,53) is arranged essentially parallel with at least a portion of the second cable (3) extending from connection with the second joint device (22,54). The invention also concerns a cable arrangement, a junction box and a method for assembly and installation of a flowline arrangement.
