Multi-position input cord assembly for a power distribution unit

Apparatuses and devices are provided that allow for a power input cord to be placed in two or more different orientations relative to a power distribution unit. A power distribution unit may be provided with one or more input cord assemblies that allow an input cord to be swiveled such that the cord exits an outside plane of the power distribution unit at a different angle. Such an assembly allows a power distribution unit to be placed in an equipment rack and coupled with an input power source in a flexible and convenient manner. Clearances and dimensions of equipment racks may be modified to provide enhanced space usage, efficiency, and/or density in a facility.

CURVATURE RESTRICTING MEMBER AND POWER SUPPLY DEVICE

Provided is a curvature restricting member, allowing for a curvature of the wire harness in a predetermined allowable direction, and regulating the curvature of the wire harness in a regulating direction beyond a predetermined limit state or more, the curvature restricting member includes: a plurality of member pieces arranged along the wire harness; a flexible connecting portion connecting adjacent ones of the plurality of member pieces to each other, wherein the curvature is allowed in the allowable direction by adjacent ones among the plurality of member pieces at the curbed portions separating from each other on the side opposite to the connecting portion and the connection portion bending, and wherein the curvature is not allowed in the restricting direction beyond the limit state by adjacent ones among the plurality of member pieces at the curbed portion abutting against each other on the side opposite to the connecting portion.

POWER SUPPLY DEVICE

Provided is a power supply device capable of suppressing bulge of a wire harness toward a vehicle body when a slide door is half-opened. The power supply device is provided with a wire harness arranged between a vehicle body and a slide door, a portion of the wire harness on the vehicle body side extending in the closing direction of the slide door when the slide door is half-opened, and a door side coil spring (a biasing part) for biasing a portion of the wire harness on the slide door side in the biasing direction pressing against the slide door on the closing direction side of the slide door in order to suppress a curvature convex toward the inside of the vehicle body at the time of half-opening of the slide door.

The device comprises a swivel adapter (1) having a body (5) including a first coupling unit (7) arranged in one end of the body for coupling the swivel adapter to the robot, and second coupling unit (9) arranged in an opposite end of the body for coupling the swivel adapter to the tool, and a distance element (13) having a lower portion (15) attached to the first coupling unit and an upper portion (17) attached to the second coupling unit, wherein the first and second coupling units are spaced apart from each other along a common central axis (C1) so that a gap (11) is formed between them. The lower portion of the distance element is disposed at a distance the periphery of the first coupling unit, and the second coupling unit is provided with a penetration hole (19) in communication with the gap (11). The upper portion (17) of the distance element is arranged so that a space is formed between the upper portion of the distance element (13) and the first coupling unit (7). The penetration hole is formed between the distance element and the second coupling unit (9). The penetration hole is partly surrounding the distance element. The penetration hole extends an angle around the common central axis and in a curved direction around the distance element.

The upper portion (17) of the distance element is arranged so that a space is formed between the upper portion of the distance element (13) and the first coupling unit (7). The penetration hole is formed between the distance element and the second coupling unit (9). The penetration hole is partly surrounding the distance element. The penetration hole extends an angle around the common central axis and in a curved direction around the distance element.

The self-retracting coiled cable can further include multiple wires extending along the longitudinal axis of the outer insulator sleeve and disposed symmetrically around the spring material.
