AUTOMATIC SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DELIVERING A SUBSTANCE TO AN ANIMAL
A system and method for automatically delivering a substance to an animal including a positioning system that positions each animal singularly, a sensor that detects the location of a predetermined targeted area on the animal and an image processor. The system further includes a delivery device having a plurality of delivery outlets for delivering a substance to the targeted area. The sensor, image processor and delivery device are in communication with a computer processor. The sensor activates the image processor which takes at least one image of the animal positioned singularly. The image is communicated to the computer processor and analyzed. The computer processor activates the delivery outlet proximate the predetermined target area on the animal which delivers an effective dosage of substance to the predetermined targeted area.
METHOD OF MANAGING DISEASE, AND APPARATUSES OPERATING THE SAME
A disease management method and apparatuses performing the disease management method are disclosed. The disease management method may include receiving bioinformation of a cow from a biosensor capsule provided in a stomach of the cow, determining a health state of the cow by analyzing the received bioinformation, and transmitting information associated with the determined health state to a user who manages the cow, in which the health state may include at least one of a breeding-related state associated with estrus and delivery of the cow, a disease state of the cow, a methane gas generation state of the cow, or a rumen activity state of the cow.
Methods and kits for maintaining pregnancy, treating follicular cysts, and synchronizing ovulation using luteinizing hormone
This invention provides methods and kits for maintaining pregnancy in mammals. Pregnancy is maintained by administration of effective amounts of luteinizing hormone (LH) or chorionic gonadotropin (CG). Both LH and CG may be used alone, in combination with each other, or in combination with growth hormone (GH) or follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). Hormones are administered on about Day 4 to about Day 7 following insemination. Effective amounts of LH range from about 10 micrograms to about 25 milligrams, preferably about 2 to about 8 mg, and of CG range from about 100 IU (international units) to about 2000 IU. Mammals treatable by the methods of this invention include ungulates and related mammals, including bovines. Kits provided by this invention include effective amounts of one or more hormones, a device for administering the hormone(s) and instructions. This invention also provides methods for treating follicular cysts and for synchronizing ovulation in mammals using LH.

Drug delivery device
There are described delivery devices for insertion into a body cavity of a target mammal, the delivery device comprising a resilient frame adapted to receive one or more moulded impregnated masses. The frame, together with the impregnated mass, are insertable, retainable and withdrawable from the intended body cavity. The impregnated mass or masses are attached to the frame to present substantially all of each face of the masses to exposure to a fluid of the body cavity when retained therein.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FOLLOWING AND CONDUCTING LABORATORY PROCEDURES
There is provided a system and method for following and conducting laboratory procedures for preventing errors and fatigue of the user. The system involves input means, such as a microscope, and a camera connected to the input means, while the camera creates images of the input means. A computer is connected to the camera, and it processes the images so that augmented reality glasses which are also connected to the computer, are capable of having those images projected thereon. The computer also has laboratory protocol files installed thereon, and it projects images of the protocols onto the glasses. The projected images do not interfere with a user's natural vision.

APPLICATION APPARATUS FOR AT LEAST ONE IMPLANT
An application apparatus (1) for at least one implant comprises a cannula (3) via which the implant is supplied to a target implantation location. An applicator housing body (32) comprises a depot volume for storing the implant. A plunger (11) of a plunger device (10) can be displaced between an initial position and an implantation position. The plunger device (10) comprises a plunger actuation body (12) to which the plunger (11) is rigidly connected. The applicator housing body (32) is intended here for guiding a displacement movement of the plunger device (10). An initial-position locking device is intended to releasably lock the applicator housing body (32) with the plunger device (10) in the initial position thereof. The initial-position locking device can be switched between a locking position and a functional position in which the plunger device (10) can be displaced in order to displace the plunger (11) relative to the applicator housing body (32). This results in an application apparatus (1), the functional safety of which is improved while having a design which is simultaneously simple and mass-producible.

METHOD AND COMPOSITION FOR SYNCHRONIZING TIME OF INSEMINATION
Methods and compositions for synchronizing the time of insemination in swine are described. More particularly, methods are described for synchronizing the time of insemination by administration of a composition comprising a hormone, wherein the swine is inseminated only one time after administration of the hormone, and wherein there is no heat detection.
