WIND TURBINE GENERATOR FAULT PROTECTION SYSTEM
A system for a wind turbine that includes a protection system interfaced to a circuit breaker system and a sensing system. The protection system is configured to determine an operational mode of the wind turbine by monitoring at least two parameters determine a parameter set comprising a plurality of operational parameters based on a determined operational mode, and an associated set of expected values corresponding to the parameter set, determine actual values corresponding to the determined parameter set, identify a fault condition in the event that the determined set of actual values of the operational parameters do not correspond to the determined set of expected values of the operational parameters, and implement a protection action based on the identified fault condition.
ELECTRICAL RECEPTACLE FAULT PROTECTION
An electrical receptacle contains a plug outlet that has a pair of contacts for electrical connection to respective hot and neutral power lines. A controlled switch, such as a TRIAC, is connected in series relationship between the outlet contact and the hot power line. Sensors in the receptacle outputs signals to a processor having an output coupled to the control terminal of the controlled switch. The processor outputs an activation signal or a deactivation signal to the controlled switch in response to received sensor signals that are indicative of conditions relative to the first and second contacts.

Tattooing apparatus
An oscillating apparatus, such as a tattooing apparatus applying an electric motor such as a linear motor, and a first sensor and a controller. A method for controlling an oscillating apparatus such as a tattooing apparatus, includes a controller and various sensors to control, among other things, the position, velocity and acceleration of a needle either directly or via a needle connector.
Hot swap component and circuit breaking apparatus used with circuit breaker
A hot swap component is provided, which includes a movable portion and a fixed portion that may be electrically connected to each other by using electrical connectors. When a circuit breaker works, a pin that is of an electrical connector and that is located on the movable portion is correspondingly connected to a base located on the fixed portion, and the fixed portion and the circuit breaker inside the movable portion are conducted. When the circuit breaker is faulty and needs to be repaired and replaced, the movable portion can be pulled out from the fixed portion, and the circuit breaker is electrically disconnected from the fixed portion. An anti-electric shock protection mechanism of the fixed portion isolates a first base inside the fixed portion, thereby implementing safe hot swap of the circuit breaker.
Reverse polarity protection device
A reverse polarity protection device includes a protection unit, a detection unit, and a control unit electrically connected between a power supply device and a load device. The detection unit is electrically connected to the power supply device for detecting the polarity of an output signal of the power supply device, and the control unit is electrically connected to the detection unit and the protection unit. The detection unit outputs a detection signal to the control unit according to a detection result of the polarity of the output signal. If the detection signal shows that the polarity of the output signal is reverse, the control unit will control the protection unit to form an open circuit between the power supply device and load device to stop transmitting the output signal of the power supply device to the load device and achieve a reverse polarity protection effect of the load device.
Circuit breaker with plug-on connector
A circuit breaker is provided that may be plugged onto an electrical panel. The circuit breaker is preferably a low voltage circuit breaker in the range of 120-240 volts. The circuit breaker has an electrical clip with a curved inner surface that contacts a curved outer surface of an electrical connector on the electrical panel.
CIRCUIT BREAKER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM CONFIGURED TO PROVIDE SELECTIVE COORDINATION
A circuit breaker distribution system is configured to provide selective coordination. The system comprises a solid-state switch disposed as a main or upstream breaker and a switch with an over current protection disposed as a branch or downstream breaker. The microcontroller to: allow repeated pulses of current through to the branch or downstream breaker in an event of an overload or short circuit, choose a maximum current limit for the solid-state switch as a “chop level” such that the chop level is chosen higher than a rated current of the solid-state circuit breaker but low enough that the solid-state switch is not damaged from repeated pulses over a period of time needed to switch OFF the branch or downstream breaker and add a pulse interval after the current chops to zero but before the solid-state circuit breaker returns to an ON state for a next pulse to begin.
Devices for overvoltage, overcurrent and arc flash protection
A crowbar module includes first and second electrical terminals, a module housing, and first and second crowbar units. The first crowbar unit is disposed in the module housing and includes a first thyristor electrically connected between the first and second electrical terminals. The second crowbar unit is disposed in the module housing and includes a second thyristor electrically connected between the first and second electrical terminals in electrical parallel with the first crowbar unit.
