FUEL CELL POWER GENERATION SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
20230063049 · 2023-03-02 · ·

A fuel cell power generation system that is mounted in a vehicle so as to be moved to a place that needs power is provided. The fuel cell power generation system and a control method thereof are capable of supplying stable voltage to a DC-AC power converter and/or an electric vehicle charger. It is possible to maintain constant voltage of electricity that is supplied to the DC-AC power converter and the electric vehicle charger using a battery capable of outputting DC voltage higher than output voltage of a fuel cell and to perform control such that a low current density period is avoided while voltage of the fuel cell is monitored, whereby durability is improved.

A method of controlling an alternator in a marine propulsion system includes receiving a demand value, wherein the demand value relates to an amount of output power produced by the engine that is demanded for propulsion of the marine vessel, and determining whether the demand value exceeds a demand threshold. The alternator is then controlled to reduce the charge current output to the battery and/or reduce a portion of engine output power from the engine that is utilized by the alternator when the demand value exceeds the demand threshold.

Systems and methods for power distribution may include a plurality of generation, distribution, and load nodes. A first generation node generates and transmits power to a first distribution node via a first transmission type, the first transmission type including MVDC or HVDC or LFAC. A second generation node generates and transmits power to a second distribution node via a second transmission type including HVAC. The first distribution node distributes the power to a first load node via the second transmission type, and distributes the power to a second load node via a third transmission type, the third transmission type including MVAC. The first load node transmits the power to a first subsea facility via one or more flow lines and the third transmission type. The second load node transmits the power to a second subsea facility via the one or more flow lines and the third transmission type.
