A test system is disclosed. The test system includes a programmable switching array including input terminals, output terminals, and an array of programmable switches configured for selectively connecting any one of the input terminals to any one of output terminals; and a current supply device comprising a multiplexed digital bus and a plurality of a power supplies connected in parallel between the multiplexed digital bus and the input terminals of the programmable switching array.

A current regulation system includes a current regulation module and a current distribution module. The current regulation module is coupled to a first power source and a second power source. The current regulation module is configured to derive a first current from the first power source, and derive a second current from the second power source when coupled to a load. The current distribution module is coupled to the first power source, the second power source and the current regulation module. The current distribution module makes the current regulation module regulate the first current and the second current according to a first electric quantity of the first power source and second electric quantity of the second power source.

A power transmission apparatus may comprise: a motor/generator unit configured to drive a motor with three-phase alternating current (AC) power converted from a supplied AC power or generating electrical power to supply AC power; a battery unit configured to charge electrical energy with direct current (DC) power and supplying the DC power by using the charged electrical energy; and/or a converter configured to convert the DC power supplied from the battery unit to the AC power to supply the AC power to the motor/generator unit or an external electrical grid based on control signals, or configured to convert the AC power supplied from the external electrical grid or the motor/generator unit to the DC power to charge the battery unit with the DC power based on the control signals.

A power transmission apparatus may comprise: a motor/generator unit configured to drive a motor with three-phase alternating current (AC) power converted from a supplied AC power or generating electrical power to supply AC power; a battery unit configured to charge electrical energy with direct current (DC) power and supplying the DC power by using the charged electrical energy; and/or a converter configured to convert the DC power supplied from the battery unit to the AC power to supply the AC power to the motor/generator unit or an external electrical grid based on control signals, or configured to convert the AC power supplied from the external electrical grid or the motor/generator unit to the DC power to charge the battery unit with the DC power based on the control signals.

A battery storage system includes: an energy converting unit configured to generate electrical power; a power converter including a control circuit, and a circuit that is controlled by the control circuit to generate electrical power to be supplied from an output of the energy converting unit to a load and electrical power to be supplied to the control circuit; a power supply source including a battery storage cell and a commercial power system; and a host control circuit configured to perform control such that electrical power is supplied from the power supply source to the control circuit when an output of the energy converting unit is between a first value and a second value larger than the first value.
Techniques and systems for generating power using multi-spectrum energy
The present invention is directed to techniques and apparatus for generating power using multi-spectrum energy. An apparatus includes an electrical device and a power source, the power source comprising a multi-spectrum power generation system in electrical communication with the mobile electrical device, the multi-spectrum power generation system including a photovoltaic electrical power generator, and a microelectromechanical power generator; a primary power storage system in electrical communication with the electrical device; and a controller system in data communication with the multi-spectrum energy power generator systems to regulate electrical communication between the power storage system and the power generation system. In an alternative embodiment, the multi-spectrum power generation system may further a thermoelectric power generator.

A network of collection, charging and distribution machines collect, charge and distribute portable electrical energy storage devices (e.g., batteries, supercapacitors or ultracapacitors). Locations of collection, charging and distribution machines having available charged portable electrical energy storage devices are communicated to or acquired by a mobile device of a user, or displayed on a collection, charging and distribution machine. The locations are indicated on a graphical user interface on a map on a user's mobile device relative to the user's current location. The user may use their mobile device select particular locations on the map to reserve an available portable electrical energy storage device. The system nay also warn the user that the user is near an edge of the pre-determined area having portable electrical energy storage device collection, charging and distribution machines. Reservations may also be made automatically based on information regarding a potential route of a user.
