Double layer capacitive coupler for transmitting electrical power between moving mechanical element
A capacitive coupler provides high coupling capacitance through the use of an electrical double layer formed on opposite plates of the coupler. The coupler can be independent or provide a hydrodynamic or hydrostatic bearing as well as capacitive coupling and the circulated dielectric can provide for cooling of associated machinery.

TWO-AXIS TEST FIXTURE
Provided is a two axis test fixture, which can include systems and associated methods. Some methods described also include implementing and/or controlling a two-axis test fixture. Systems and computer program products are also provided. A test fixture is used to test, calibrate, or validate an IMU. The test fixture is operable to rotate a device under test (e.g., IMU) along two axes while mounted to a turntable. The rotation of the turntable is enabled via multiple slip rings, rotational bearings, and standoff fixtures. Testing of the device along greater than two axes is achieved through rotation of the device under test on the turntable, and revolutions of the device under test about an axle.
Smart generator
The present disclosure relates to a smart generator and, more particularly, to a smart generator in which two stators are used for a single rotor, the gap between an N-pole and an S-pole of the first and second stators is decreased, and a load that is an interference electromagnetic force affecting a rotor wire is minimized, whereby more power can be generated from a less force.
Motor-Driven Fan With Trapped Adhesive for Minimizing Vibration
HVLP (High Velocity Low Pressure) motor-driven fans and other types of fans, blowers and vacuums take advantage of different thermal and mechanical properties of dissimilar materials used in the motor-driven fans. The dissimilar materials include aluminum for a stacked arrangement of fan wheels and spacers, steel for a shaft that supports the fan wheels and spacers, and a polymeric adhesive. In some examples, the polymeric adhesive is trapped between the aluminum and steels parts. Compared to steel and aluminum, the adhesive has a relatively high coefficient of thermal expansion but relatively low strength such that thermal expansion of the adhesive exerts additional clamping pressure during startup and during high temperature operation. The additional clamping pressure reduces vibration and eliminates other causes of fan or motor failure.
Earthing brush assembly
An earthing brush assembly including an earthing brush and a brush mounting plate configured to radially and axially retain the brush, the brush having a support and a plurality of conductive individual fibres mounted in the support, the mounting plate providing a radial main body axially delimited by a first front face and by a second front face, and a plurality of tongues for axially and radially retaining the brush, the tongues being circumferentially distributed around the main body of the mounting plate and extending axially from the second front face of the main body. The brush mounting plate includes at least three mounting segments extending radially outwards from an outer surface of the main body, the mounting segments being distributed circumferentially around the main body of the mounting plate, each one of the segments locally surrounding the support of the earthing brush while remaining radially separated from the support.
Commutator of motor having hooks and a plurality of recesses and motor having the same
Provided is a commutator of a motor including a body and hooks forming coil-receiving spaces between the body and inner surfaces of the hooks, wherein the hooks include recesses concavely formed on the inner surfaces of the hooks, and coils are seated on the recesses. Thus the present disclosure provides an advantageous effect of increasing fixing force of the hooks.
Electric motor
In an electric motor, a brush holder stay (33) has an opening section through which a commutator (23) is able to be inserted in a rotary shaft direction (O1), brush holders (41) extend in the rotary shaft direction (O1) and are formed in a flat spring shape biased toward the inside in a radial direction, base end sections of the brush holders (41) are supported by the brush holder stay (33) at intervals in a circumferential direction around the rotary shaft (3), and brushes (31) are held by the front end sections of the brush holders (41).
SLIPRING WITH REDUCED CONTACT NOISE
A method for manufacture of a gold-plated slipring contact, comprising steps of galvanic deposition of a copper layer on the electrically-conductive substrate; of a nickel and/or nickel phosphor layer on the copper layer; and of a gold layer on the nickel and/or nickel phosphor layer. While galvanically applying the copper layer on the substrate, the used galvanic bath explicitly does not include at least one of 3-carboxy-1-(phenylmethyl)pyridinium chloride sodium salt, cationic polymers with urea groups, 1-(3-sulfopropyl)pyridinium betaine, 1-(2-hydroxy-3-sulfopropyl)-pyridinium betaine, propargyl(3-sulfopropyl)ether sodium salt, sodium saccharin, sodium allylsulfonate, N,N-dimethyl-N-(3-cocoamidopropyl)-N-(2-hydroxy-3-sulfopropyl)ammonium betaine, polyamines, 1H-imidazole-polymer with (chloromethyl)oxiran, 3-carboxy-1-(phenylmethyl)pyridinium chloride sodium salt, 1-benzyl-3-sodium carboxy-pyridinium chloride, arsenic trioxide, potassium antimony tartrate, potassium tellurate, alkali arsenite, potassium tellerite, potassium seleno cyanate, alkali antimonyl tartrate, sodium selenite, thallium sulfate, and carbon disulfide, to create the outer surface of the contact that is at least an order of magnitude rougher than a surface of a conventionally-fabricated contact.
Permanent Magnet Motor and Home Appliance Having the Same
A permanent magnet motor and a home appliance including the permanent magnet motor are provided. The permanent magnet motor includes a stator and a rotor rotatable relative to the stator. The rotor includes a rotary shaft, a rotor core fixed to the rotary shaft, a commutator fixed to the rotary shaft and adjacent the rotor core, and a rotor winding wound around poles of the rotor core and electrically connected with the commutator. The stator includes a cylindrical housing, a permanent magnet mounted to an inner surface of the housing, and brushes in sliding contact with the commutator. A ratio of an outer diameter of the rotor core to an outer diameter of the housing is 60% to 85%, and a wire diameter of the rotor winding is 0.12 mm to 0.23 mm. The present invention can provide higher output power without increasing sizes of the motor.
