Energy transforming unit and energy transforming system comprising such a unit
The present invention relates to an energy transforming unit adapted to convert reciprocating forces into rotating axle movements on at least one force transmitting axle and/or into electrical power. The unit comprises at least one restriction device which is directly connected to the force and which is arranged to forward the incoming reciprocating forces into a movement over at least one conversion module. The energy transforming unit is characterized in that the at least one restriction device is delimiting one, by the energy transforming unit enclosed reciprocating volume which entirely or partly passes through the at least one conversion module. The reciprocating volume can comprise a non-compressible fluid arranged to forward the incoming forces into a reciprocating fluid movement over the at least one conversion module and/or the reciprocating volume can comprise at least one mechanical force transmitting arrangement adapted to the at least one conversion module. The unit further comprises a compact central unit which at least partly encloses the at least one conversion module.

Electricity generator with undulating membrane
An electricity generator that derives energy from a membrane undulating in a longitudinal direction. The generator having electricity generation modules carried on the membrane, each module having a fixed frame, a movable frame, a coil, and at least one permanent magnet carried by one of the frames in order to generate a voltage when the membrane undulates. The fixed frames are connected to the membrane and the movable frames are disposed at a distance from a neutral axis of the membrane so that, when the membrane undulates in the longitudinal direction, the moveable frame of each electricity generation module slides in a rectilinear movement with respect to the fixed frame so as to generate electrical voltages in the coils of each module.

POWER GENERATION DEVICE
A power generation device includes a first magnetic body including a side surface that makes contact with or separates from the first side surface of the yoke, a second magnetic body including a side surface that makes contact with or separates from the second side surface of the yoke, and a magnet including a first magnetic pole face and a second magnetic pole face that has a magnetic pole different from a magnetic pole of the first magnetic pole face. The first magnetic pole face is attracted to the attraction surface of the first magnetic body, the second magnetic pole face is attracted to the attraction surface of the second magnetic body, and at least one of the first magnetic body and the second magnetic body rotates in a state of being attracted to the magnet.
Kinetic-powered battery systems for musical instruments and related methods
Kinetic-powered battery systems for musical instrument that can build a charge based on some or all of the physical motion exerted upon the musical instrument. This physical motion can arise from any conceivable activity, including (but not limited to) handling, travel activity, playing the musical instrument and/or intentionally shaking the musical instrument to build a charge prior to use. The kinetic rechargeable power system for musical instruments has application in any conceivable musical instrument, including (but not limited to) acoustic and electric instruments, wireless transmitters or microphones or any related sound reinforcement equipment currently using batteries and subject to movement in travel, setup, use, or intentional movement to create sufficient charge.

Extraordinary acoustic absorption induced by hybrid resonance and electrical energy generation from sound by hybrid resonant metasurface
A sound absorbing metamaterial comprises an acoustic impedance-matched surface configured to minimize reflection from an incident acoustic wave. The surface is comprised of an elastic or flexible membrane and a substantially rigid mass mounted on the membrane. A relatively solid surface is provided as a reflective surface and is positioned behind the membrane. The reflective surface is separated by a predetermined distance from the elastic or flexible membrane and forms a fluid space between the membrane and the solid surface. The mass mounted on the membrane, in combination with the elastic membrane establish a plurality of eigenfrequencies.
