Motor unit
A motor unit includes a motor, a housing including a housing space to house the motor, oil in a vertically lower region of the housing space, and an oil passage to lead the oil from the vertically lower region of the housing space through the motor to the vertically lower region of the housing space. The oil passage includes a first oil passage extending through an inside of the motor, and a second oil passage extending through an outside of the motor. One of the first oil passage and the second oil passage includes a cooler to cool the oil therein.
Electrical winding topologies and methods of making the same
An electrical winding topology having a core and a plurality of windings is provided. The plurality of windings is operatively coupled to the core, where at least one of the plurality of windings includes an evaporator section and a condenser section. Further, at least a portion of one or more of the plurality of windings includes heat pipes.
DRIVE, COMPRISING AN ELECTRIC MOTOR WITH A BRAKE, A FAN COWL, AND A ROD FOR MANUALLY ACTUATING THE BRAKE, AND PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A DRIVE
A drive includes an electric motor with a brake and a fan cowl. The fan cowl is connected to a housing, in particular to a stator housing part, of the electric motor in a detachable manner. A rod is able to be passed through a cover part, which projects through a recess, in particular a recess arranged in the form of a slot, in the fan cowl.
Conductor and method of forming thereof
A conductor a method of forming a conductor can include providing a hollow base conductor defining a fluid channel along the base conductor, and a solid conductor arranged about the perimeter of the hollow base conductor, wherein the fluid channel can be configured to allow a fluid to flow via the channel.
ELECTRIC MACHINE WITH INTERNAL COOLING PASSAGEWAYS
An electric machine includes a stator core having opposing first and second end faces, an outer surface between the end faces, and a plurality of fluid passageways defined within the stator core. Each fluid passageway includes an entrance hole defined in the outer surface and an inboard passage extending along a length of the core and in fluid communication with the entrance hole. Each fluid passageway further includes an outboard passage extending along a length of the core and having a first exit hole defined in the first end face and an interconnecting passage connecting the inboard passage in fluid communication with the outboard passage.
ROTATING ELECTRICAL MACHINE
A rotating electrical machine includes a rotor and a stator. A first end plate includes a first refrigerant discharge hole which communicates with a second refrigerant flow path hole and supplies refrigerant to a first coil end and a first groove portion which supplies the refrigerant supplied from a refrigerant flow path to a first refrigerant flow path hole and does not supply the refrigerant to the first refrigerant discharge hole and the second refrigerant flow path hole. A second end plate includes a second refrigerant discharge hole which supplies the refrigerant to a second coil end and a second groove portion which supplies the refrigerant supplied from the first refrigerant flow path hole to the second refrigerant flow path hole and supplies the refrigerant to the second refrigerant discharge hole,
COOLING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
An assembly may be provided that includes a controller configured to be coupled with at least one blower drive that operates a blower motor to cool resistive elements that dissipate electrical power as heat. The controller may be configured to determine whether the electrical power is no longer received by the resistive elements and operate the at least one blower drive to operate the blower motor to cool the resistive elements responsive to the electrical power no longer being received by the resistive elements
HAPTIC ACTUATOR INCLUDING THERMALLY COUPLED HEAT SPREADING LAYER AND RELATED METHODS
A haptic actuator may include a housing that includes a ferromagnetic material having a first heat conductance, and a coil carried by the housing in a medial portion thereof and generating waste heat when electrically powered. The haptic actuator may also include a field member movable within the housing responsive to the coil. The field member may include at least one permanent magnet establishing a magnetic path with the housing. A heat spreading layer may be thermally coupled to the housing adjacent the coil. The heat spreading layer may have a second heat conductance greater than the first heat conductance to spread the waste heat from the coil to adjacent portions of the housing.
Electric machine
An electric machine having a stator arranged in a machine housing and a rotor mounted rotatably relative to the stator about an axis of rotation, wherein the machine housing includes at least one coolant inlet port for supplying coolant to the machine housing and at least one coolant outlet port for draining coolant from the machine housing. It is provided that the coolant inlet port empties into a distribution annulus and several housing coolant ducts emerge from the distribution annulus and extend beyond the stator, when viewed in the axial direction, and are connected fluidically, on their side facing away from the distribution annulus, to stator cooling duct inlets of stator cooling ducts formed in the stator, which pass entirely through the stator in the axial direction.
Motor attachment bracket, motor attachment structure, and substrate processing apparatus
Various examples, relating to motor attachment, a motor attachment structure, substrate processing apparatus are disclosed. The present disclosure exemplifies a motor attachment bracket including a plate-shaped motor mounting portion which an output shaft insertion hole through which an output shaft of a motor is inserted penetrates, and to which the motor the output shaft of which is inserted through the output shaft insertion hole is fixed. A fluid path in which a cooling fluid is circulated is formed in a metal member formed with the motor mounting portion, a motor attachment structure using the motor attachment bracket, and a substrate processing apparatus.
