The present disclosure provides a thermal signal transmission patch electrically connected to an external controller, electronic component or signal source. The patch includes a substrate and a loop layer. The substrate is a sheet-shaped body. The loop layer is arranged on one side of the substrate. The loop layer includes a first loop layer and a second loop layer. The first loop layer includes a first contact, a second contact and a third contact. The second loop layer includes a fourth contact, a fifth contact and a sixth contact. An electrical connection mode of the first contact, the second contact, the fourth contact and the fifth contact electrically connected to the external controller or electronic component is changed, and the third contact and the sixth contact are electrically connected to the external signal source, so as to achieve a fast switching between electrotherapy and thermotherapy.

A system for laparoscopic thermal treatment of visceral fat includes an elongate cooling probe configured for placement through a trocar, the probe including an elongate shaft having a proximal end and a distal end and having a maximum transverse dimension, and an expandable endpiece having a proximal end and a distal end, and including a collapsed state configured for placement through a channel of the trocar and an expanded state, the expanded state having a maximum outer diameter, the maximum outer diameter at least about twice the maximum transverse dimension of the shaft, wherein the proximal end of the endpiece is sealingly coupled to the distal end of the shaft, and a heat exchanger coupled to the cooling probe and configured to remove heat from the endpiece such that adipose tissue placed in contact with the endpiece can be cooled to a temperature of between about 2° C. and about .sup.+1° C.

A detachable cooling apparatus comprises: a distal miming catheter forming a distal lumen that provides liquid as an input and a proximal miming catheter forming a proximal lumen that receives the liquid as an output, where the proximal miming catheter is connected to the distal running catheter. A focal hypothermia-inducing fluidics system comprises a thermal management and flow system (TMFS) that is operable to alter a liquid to a specific temperature and to regulate a flow rate, a closed-circuit flow system with a detachable cooling apparatus, a distal sensor array, a pump for moving the liquid through the TMFS, an inflow port that receives the liquid from the proximal running catheter, a plurality of capillary tubes that cool the liquid, and an outflow port that returns the liquid to the distal miming catheter.
COLD/HOT COMPRESS STRIP DEVICE WITH QUICK REPLACEABLE COMPRESS STRIP AND EFFICIENT COLD/HOT SWITCH
A cold/hot compress strip device with a quick replaceable compress strip and an efficient cold/hot switch includes a host machine and a flexible compress strip fixable to an affected part on a human body surface, and the host machine can pump the cooled cold water from its container into the compress strip and circulate the cold water in the compress strip for cold compress, or can quickly discharge the cold water in the compress strip, and drive a heating film on the compress strip to generate heat for hot compress, so as to achieve an efficient cold/hot switch, and the compress strip can be replaced quickly as needed. The application of the cold/hot compress strip device is very simple and practical.
ELECTRIC HEATING PADS AND MATTRESSES
An electric heating pad for warming a patient includes a heated underbody support or heated mattress. The heated underbody support or mattress includes a heater assembly having a flexible sheet-like heating element, conductive bus bars attached at or near side edges of the heating element, and fabric side edge extensions attached to heating element side edges. The heated underbody support or mattress also includes a layer of polymeric foam positioned under the heater assembly and a shell, including at least two sheets of flexible material, covering at least a portion of the heater assembly and the layer of polymeric foam. When the heater assembly is wrapped around the top surface of the layer of polymeric foam, side edges of the heating element extend partially down the two side walls of the layer of polymeric foam and the conductive bus bars lie adjacent those two side walls.
MUSCLE STIMULATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for stimulating a muscle of a user, the system comprising: a stimulating unit comprising (i) at least two electrodes configured to be placed in electrical contact with skin of a user in a vicinity of the muscle, and (ii) a pulse generator configured to generate an electrical pulse for application to the muscle through the at least two electrodes; a sensing unit comprising at least one sensor configured to measure a physiological parameter of the user and generate a sensing signal in response thereto; and a control processor operatively coupled to the stimulating unit and to the sensing unit and configured to receive the sensing signal from the at least one sensor and change a parameter of the electrical pulse applied by the at least two electrodes in response to the sensing signal.
MUSCLE STIMULATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for stimulating a muscle of a user, the system comprising: a stimulating unit comprising (i) at least two electrodes configured to be placed in electrical contact with skin of a user in a vicinity of the muscle, and (ii) a pulse generator configured to generate an electrical pulse for application to the muscle through the at least two electrodes; a sensing unit comprising at least one sensor configured to measure a physiological parameter of the user and generate a sensing signal in response thereto; and a control processor operatively coupled to the stimulating unit and to the sensing unit and configured to receive the sensing signal from the at least one sensor and change a parameter of the electrical pulse applied by the at least two electrodes in response to the sensing signal.
COLD/HOT COMPRESS DEVICE WITH EFFICIENT COLD/HOT SWITCH AND QUICK COMPRESS STRIP REPLACEMENT
A cold/hot compress device with efficient cold/hot switch and quick compress strip replacement includes a host machine and a flexible compress strip, and the host machine can pump the cooled water into the compress strip for a cold compress of an affected part on a human body surface and also can quickly discharge the cold water contained in the compress strip and drive a heating film to generate heat for a hot compress without the need of heating the cold water for an efficient cold/hot switch. The flexible compress strip can be replaced quickly as needed, and its application is very simple and practical.
