A fuel and oil system comprising a fuel pump; an oil pump. A first electric motor controller configured to supply a variable electrical drive. A second electric motor controller configured to supply a variable electrical drive. A fixed electrical drive. The fuel pump is selectively connected to and driven by the first electric motor controller or the second electric motor controller. The oil pump is selectively connected to and driven by the second electric motor controller or the fixed electrical drive.
INVERTER CONTROL DEVICE AND INVERTER CONTROL METHOD
An inverter control device that controls a multiple of inverters configured to use the same positive and negative direct current voltage bus lines connected to a power supply and driving a corresponding multiple of motors, the inverter control device including smoothing control means that controls an inverter outflow current so that voltage of the power supply is smoothed by a smoothing capacitor connected to the positive and negative direct current voltage bus lines, and two-phase modulation operation means that fixes a predetermined one phase of a three-phase modulated wave at either a maximum voltage or minimum voltage the inverter can output determined by a voltage between the positive and negative direct current voltage bus lines, and calculates a modulated wave that causes the other two phases to switch.
Method for operating a motorized shade
An architectural covering is provided. The architectural covering includes: shade material; the shade material operatively connected to a motor unit such that movement of the motor unit causes movement of the shade material; the motor unit comprising a DC motor and a shaft connected to the DC motor; a power supply unit electrically connected to the motor unit; a controller unit electrically connected to the motor unit, the controller unit having a microprocessor; and a rotation detector configured to detect rotation of the motor unit and upon detection of rotation of the motor unit transmit a signal to the microprocessor, wherein the microprocessor of the controller unit is configured to power an encoder unit in response to determination of manual movement of the shade material. A motor and control unit for an architectural covering may be provided.
DRIVE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VEHICLE EMPLOYING MULTIPLE ELECTRONIC MOTORS
A drive system with one or more electrically driven axles, a transmission subsystem, which is drivingly coupled to a drive gearbox of each of the electrically driven axles, first and second motors, which are each drivingly coupled to the transmission subsystem and have different motor characteristics, and a controller. The drive gearbox of each axle transmits rotary power to an associated set of vehicle wheels. The controller controls the first and second motors responsive to at least a torque request. Over a significant portion of the operating range of the drive system, the controller is configured to vary the respective magnitudes of the rotary power provided by the first and second motors to satisfy the torque request in a manner that maximizes a combined efficiency of the motors in a predetermined manner.
Motor control device and failure detection method for motor control device
A closed-loop circuit is detected based on a short-circuit failure of a motor control switching element of a motor drive circuit and a cutoff switching element. A motor control device including a motor, a motor drive circuit (10a) that is connected to a power supply device and the motor and controls the output of the motor, and a processing unit for detecting a closed-loop circuit formed by the motor and the motor drive circuit (10a) based on a short-circuit failure of switching elements arranged in the motor drive circuit (10a).
