Disclosed herein are devices for preventing or treating an injury to an individual. Also provided are devices and methods for alleviating pain or discomfort caused by equipment or other padding or articles of clothing or uniform. The device can include a disposable padded tape having a plurality of force absorbing zones. It can also include an adhesive layer for attaching the device to a body contacting surface.

PATIENT MANEUVERING APPARATUS
A patient maneuvering apparatus including a substantially planar body having a top surface, a bottom surface opposing the top surface, a left end, and a right end. The patient maneuvering apparatus also includes a first handle disposed at the left end of the body and a second handle disposed at the right end of the body, a mesh layer with a mesh layer thickness at least partially defining the bottom surface, a fabric layer of an absorbent material at least partially defining the top surface and with a fabric layer thickness, and a border spanning the perimeter of the body, surrounding the mesh and fabric layers, and with a border thickness greater than the mesh layer thickness and the fabric layer thickness.

Portable sanitary staging assembly
A portable sanitary staging assembly is utilized to place an infant or a baby on while changing a diaper, or to stage an injured person or animal, such as for triage or emergency medical treatment in the field, or for a person or animal receiving medical attention outside of a typical medical environment. A portable sanitary staging assembly includes a sanitary paper dispenser assembly having a dispenser/protector tube dimensioned to receive sanitary paper therein, the dispenser/protector tube having a dispenser slot formed through a portion of the dispenser/protector tube to facilitate dispensing the sanitary paper. A sanitary pad assembly having a main sanitary pad is interconnected to a portion of the sanitary paper dispenser assembly. A cutter mechanism is affixed to a portion of the portable sanitary staging assembly to facilitate removal and disposal of soiled sanitary paper after use.
Regulator device for drug patch
Embodiments are disclosed of a method of controlling timing and/or dosage of a transdermal drug patch. For example, a control device operative to move the patch to one or more of a plurality of operational relationships with a skin of a patient, including being fully engaged with the skin, partially engaged with the skin, and disengaged with the skin. The device may include a roller that peels a patch on and off the skin. Optionally a convention patch is used. In some embodiments a patch and/or an adaptor has a mobile zone and an immobile zone. In some embodiments, an active surface of the patch fully contacts the skin in an engaged state. For example the patch may be attached to the device on a passive portion thereof.

Embodiments are disclosed of a method of controlling timing and/or dosage of a transdermal drug patch. Acute Care Eco System Integrating Customized Devices of Personalized Care With Networked Population Based Management
A personalized acute care treatment kit is provided that includes components necessary for a lay caregiver to treat an acute cardiac event. The kit includes a medication box provided with medications selected according to the needs of the owner, a CPR device, a pacemaker, a defibrillator, monitoring and diagnostic devices and a computing device. The computing device is provided with a mobile application that captures patient data from the devices in the kit and automatically sends an alarm to a treatment professional when the patient data exceeds a predetermined threshold and establishes a communication link to with the treatment professional to allow the treatment professional to instruct the lay caregiver in using the contents of the kit to provide acute care.
Curable silicone compositions
The invention relates to a curable composition, containing (A) at least one polyorganosiloxane, which has at least one hydroxy group bound to a silicon atom, (B) at least one silane of the formula (1):
Si(R.sup.1).sub.m(R.sup.2).sub.n(R.sup.3).sub.4−(m+n) (1), as defined herein, (C) at least one aminosilane, and (D) at least one tin compound,
wherein the composition is free of epoxysilane and the molar ratio of the aminosilane to the tin compound is 1:1 to 50:1, as well as to the preparation and use thereof.
