Method and apparatus for dynamically adapting FM tuner sensitivity to a local environment for a single-tuner system
A method of operating a single-tuner radio includes tuning into a first frequency. A pause in a first signal associated with the first frequency is detected. Tuning is switched from the first frequency to a second frequency. A signal quality metric for the second frequency is measured. Tuning is switched from the second frequency to the first frequency.
Remote controller, control method thereof and image processing apparatus having the same
A remote controller includes a touch screen, a communicator, and a processor. The processor controls control a first user interface to be displayed on the touch screen, identifies a signal which is received through the communicator while the first user interface is displayed on the touch screen, and controls a second user interface to be displayed on the touch screen based on the received signal. The second user interface performs a function which is different from that of the first user interface.
Universal automatic frequency control for multi-channel receivers
Systems and methods for performing automatic frequency control are provided. Instead of relying on individual frequency tuners for each channel of a multi-channel receiver system, the present subject matter uses a single frequency tuner for receiving each channel of the multi-channel receiver system. A locked demodulator may be designated as a reference demodulator and frequency offset values associated with the reference demodulator may be applied to other demodulators of the multi-channel receiver. These frequency offset values may be used by individual demodulators of each channel for correcting corresponding frequency offsets.
WATCH HAVING CONDUCTIVE SIDE WALLS AND BIPLANAR ANTENNA CONFIGURATION
A wrist-worn electronic device comprises a housing, a first antenna, a second antenna, and an electrical switch. The housing includes a circumferential side wall, an electrically conductive bezel, a bezel retainer, a lower ring and an electrically conductive bottom plate. The first antenna is formed in part by a portion of the bezel and receives a first wireless signal having a first frequency in a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) band. The second antenna is formed in part by at least a portion of the bottom plate and transmits a second wireless signal to a non-terrestrial network (NTN), receives a third wireless signal from the NTN, or both. The electrical switch having a plurality of selectable positions each associated with a tuning network that causes the second antenna to transmit the second wireless signal at a second frequency and to receive the third wireless signal at a third frequency.
