Person Support Apparatuses With Selectively Coupled Foot Sections
Person support apparatuses are disclosed. In one embodiment, a person support apparatus comprises a base frame and a primary support frame supported on the base frame. A carriage is freely translatable at least between a head end of the primary support frame and a foot end of the primary support frame. A support surface is supported on the carriage such that the support surface translates with the carriage. The support surface includes a support section which is collapsible in a length direction of the support surface. The support section may include an air bladder and a control valve fluidly coupled to the air bladder that regulates air pressure within the air bladder. The control valve has a normally closed position and a vent position, wherein the person support apparatus comprises an exercise configuration wherein the control valve is in the vent position and the air bladder is vented to atmosphere.
Multi-purpose, multi-utility, and re-organizable recliner chair bed
A recliner chair bed includes a first frame, a second frame, a backrest, and a leg rest. The first frame has front and rear ends. The second frame fits comfortably and moves telescopically inside and outside of the first frame. The leg rest is attached to the front end of the first frame. The backrest is attached to the rear end of the first frame. The independent movement of the back and leg rests helps in achieving desired position for comfort. The recliner chair bed provides stability, can be moved on to any fixtures such as furniture and toilet and also can be converted into a bed.
MEDICAL SUPPORT APPARATUS
A chair includes a seat, a backrest, and a leg rest. A tilt actuator and lift actuator tilt and lift the seat, respectively. A leg rest actuator extends and retracts the leg rest. A backrest actuator pivots the backrest with respect to the seat. A controller simultaneously controls the actuators such that they move sequentially between multiple predefined states. A control panel enables a user to automatically move the chair to any of the predefined states. A controller controls the actuators such that they simultaneously arrive at each state. One or more functions on a control panel may also be automatically disabled and/or automatically enabled as the chair moves into or out of certain ones of the predefined states. When transitioning between some states, all of the actuators are activated, and when transitioning between other states, only a subset of the actuators is activated.
Adaptive attachment wheel for wheelchairs
The invention relates to an adaptive attachment wheel for wheelchairs, formed as a unit consisting of: a wheel (5); frame segments (1); adaptation shells (7, 8) for lateral guidance on the wheelchair front tubes; and at least one holding element (6) that can be fastened to the wheelchair; such that, when the adaptive attachment wheel is attached to the wheel-chair, the adaptation shells (7, 8) are brought together with the wheelchair front tubes, the front casters of which are lifted off of the ground, and a three-wheeled wheelchair is produced, the front wheel (5) of which can be steered and braked by means of an one-hand steering system (13).
DEVICE CONFIGURED TO TRANSPORT A HUMAN BODY
A device includes a main frame; at least one wheel; and supports. The supports are arranged in a support frame movably connected to the main frame. The support frame comprises a seat sub frame and a leg sub frame. The seat sub frame or the leg sub frame is fixedly hinged to the main frame, and the other is displaceably hinged to the main frame. A transformation mechanism associated with the main frame can convert the device between a planar support state and an angled support state. Supports enclose an angle to define a seat and backing support. The leg sub frame is extended beyond its hinge relative to the main frame and comprises a set of wheels at the free end of the extended leg sub frame. The extended leg sub frame provides a sturdy wheel base in the angled support state to define a wheel chair mode.
Patient support apparatus
A patient support apparatus including a seat section, a backrest section that is movable relative to the seat section, and an arm supported relative to the seat section. The arm is adapted to move between a first position adjacent the seat section for use as an arm rest for a person sitting on the patient support apparatus to a raised second position adjacent the backrest section. The arm and the backrest section are coupled together when the arm is in the raised second position wherein the arm moves with the backrest section.
MOVABLE CARRIER
A movable carrier includes a main body, a first wheel, a driving module, a first support member, a second wheel, a seat, a first handle and two first switches. The first wheel is pivotally connected to the main body. The driving module is disposed in the main body. The first support member is connected to the driving module. The second wheel is pivotally connected to the first support member. The seat is disposed on the main body. The first handle is pivotally connected to the seat and has a trigger portion. The first switches are disposed on the seat. When the first handle rotates with respect to the seat and the trigger portion triggers the first switch, the driving module drives the first support member to rotate with respect to the main body, so as to increase or decrease a distance between the first wheel and the second wheel.
Person support apparatuses with selectively coupled foot sections
Person support apparatuses with selectively coupled foot sections are disclosed. In one embodiment, the person support apparatus includes a base frame, a primary support frame supported on the base frame, and a foot section coupled to the primary support frame. The person support apparatus also includes a carriage that is freely translatable between a head end of the primary support frame and a foot end of the primary support frame, the carriage comprising a torso portion and a seat portion having a thigh segment and a gluteal segment. The person support apparatus further includes a selectable trunnion that selectively and severally couples the foot section to the primary support frame and the thigh segment of the seat portion.
Sub-mobility device charging system for vehicle
A sub-mobility device charging system for a vehicle is capable of moving while carrying a sub-mobility device in which a passenger sits. The system includes an acquisition unit, a main electric power supply unit and a controller. The acquisition unit acquires a destination or traveling schedule inputted to the sub-mobility device; the main electric power supply unit supplies electric power to the sub-mobility device carried in the vehicle; and the controller controls to supply electric power to the sub-mobility device via the main electric power supply unit. The controller charges the sub-mobility device on a basis of the acquired traveling schedule for the sub-mobility device in the destination, and generates a traveling route to guide the charged sub-mobility device to a stop-off points corresponding to the destination.
