CONVERTIBLE WHEELCHAIR COMPRISING SLIDE SEAT
A wheelchair is provided that includes a motor-driven laterally extendable platform that can be extended and retracted to assist a user in getting onto and off of the wheelchair. A motor drive system is provided that can be actuated by an actuator. The actuator can be, for example, a wired remote controller or a wireless remote controller. Full actuation can be accomplished by a single triggering motion of the actuator, or the actuator can be configured to require a constant holding of the actuator until a desired position of the platform is reached. Travel limits can be programmed into the motor drive system such that the drive system stops driving extension or retraction of the platform once a travel limit is reached. The wheelchair can also be converted into a recumbent position. Methods of transferring a user onto or off of the wheelchair are also provided.
WHEELED NURSING AND MEDICAL DEVICE
A wheeled nursing and medical device includes a wheeled seat mechanism, a driving module, a bed mechanism and a linking mechanism. The wheeled seat mechanism includes an expandable base frame and front and rear wheel assemblies. The driving module is operable to drive expanding and retraction of the expandable base frame. The bed mechanism includes a main bed plate and a backrest plate pivotally connected with the main bed plate. The linking mechanism includes at least one inclined bracket pivotally connected with the expandable base frame and the backrest plate. The device is shiftable between a bed state and a wheelchair state to render traveling of the device in the wheelchair state convenient.
METHOD OF POSITIONING A PATIENT
The present disclosure provides a method of positioning a patient. The patient is provided on a support surface, an inflatable positioning mattress disposed between the patient and the support surface. Air flow into the inflatable positioning mattress is initiated to inflate the inflatable positioning mattress. A downward force is applied on the inflatable positioning mattress proximate to a first side of the support surface. A portion of the inflatable positioning mattress proximate to a second side of the support surface is raised. At least one wedge is positioned beneath the inflatable positioning mattress. Subsequently, the patient is lowered onto the at least one wedge.
Adjustable therapist table
The adjustable therapist table comprises a first lifting module, a second lifting module, and a brace panel. The brace panel may be coupled to the second lifting module. The brace panel may be coupled to the first lifting module via a hinge. The adjustable therapist table may be adapted to assist an operator in moving a patient during a medical examination or medical procedure. A plurality of air chambers located on the top surface of the first lifting module and on the top surface of the second lifting module may be adapted to inflate and deflate to move the patient in various directions. The second lifting module and the brace panel may be pivoted with respect to the first lifting module via the hinge. As non-limiting examples, a supine patient may be rolled to the left, rolled to the right, and lifted to a sitting position.
Adjustable Patient Support Apparatus For Assisted Egress And Ingress
An adjustable patient support apparatus comprises a base, a support frame, and a patient support deck. The patient support deck comprises articulating deck sections, such as a leg section, seat section, and a back section pivotally coupled together. One or more actuators may be configured to move the leg and/or back section between a lowered position and one or more raised positions. The seat section may include one or more articulating seats to assist with ingress and egress from the patient support apparatus. The one or more seats may be articulated manually or electrically via a lever or actuator.
Systems And Techniques For Evaluating Performance Of Actuator Systems Of A Patient Support Apparatus
A patient support apparatus comprises a support structure comprising a base and a patient support surface to support a patient. An actuator system facilitates movement of the patient support surface relative to a floor surface. One or more sensors are responsive to changes in position of the patient support surface caused by the actuator system. A controller is operably coupled to the one or more sensors and the actuator system. The controller is configured to operate the actuator system to move the patient support surface and to monitor the movement of the patient support surface by sensing positions of the patient support surface over time. The controller is further configured to identify a frictional load event on the actuator system during movement in a present cycle and associate the frictional load event with a sensed position of the patient support surface in the present cycle.

SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFYING INFORMATION REPRESENTED BY BIOLOGICAL SIGNALS
This system for identifying information represented by biological signals is configured so as to detect biological signals (S501), analyze the detected biological signals and then output feature data (S502), determine the respective similarities between the feature data and a plurality of teaching data (S503), store the similarities per time in a time series (S504), and determine information represented by the biological signals on the basis of the plurality of similarities within a prescribed period among the stored similarities in the time series (S505).

Mobile object
A mobile object is configured so as to be capable of moving front and rear bases 10,30 object to each other in order to make a wheel base provided between the front wheels 12 and the rear wheels 32 expandable and contractible. The front base 10 moves so as to be expand and contract the tread width between the front wheels 12 in association with the expansion and the contraction of the wheel base achieved. The seating part 41 is configured so as to turn forward in association with the relative movement of the front and rear bases 10,30 in order to contract the wheel base and the tread width. The seating part 41 is configured so as to turn backward in association with the relative movement of the front and rear bases 10,30 in order to expand the wheel base and the tread width.
