System and method for integrating a home media system and other home systems
A system and method for integrating a home media system and other home systems. As a non-limiting example, various aspects of this disclosure provide a system and method that flexibly and efficiently provide communication and/or resource sharing between a home media system and various other home systems.
Two-wire transmitter
A two-wire transmitter is connected to an external circuit via two transmission lines and outputs a current signal to the external circuit while using the external circuit as a power source. The two-wire transmitter includes: a measured data processing circuit that is connected to a sensor that outputs an electrical signal based on measured data and configured to output a first signal based on the measured data; a current output circuit configured to determine a current signal based on the first signal; and a shunt regulator circuit configured to determine a circuit voltage of the two-wire transmitter based on the first signal.

Apparatus for coupling to existing power lines
Methods, systems, and apparatus for monitoring and controlling electronic devices using wired and wireless protocols are disclosed. The systems and apparatus may monitor their environment for signals from electronic devices. The systems and apparatus may take and disambiguate the signals that are received from the devices in their environment to identify the devices and associate control signals with the devices. The systems and apparatus may use communication means to send control signals to the identified electronic devices. Multiple apparatuses or systems may be connected together into networks, including mesh networks, to make for a more robust architecture.
Method for source/drain contact formation in semiconductor devices using common doping and common etching to n-type and p-type source/drains
A method includes providing a structure that includes a substrate, a first gate structure and a second gate structure over the substrate, and a first source/drain (S/D) feature and a second S/D feature over the substrate. The first S/D feature is adjacent to the first gate structure, the second S/D feature is adjacent to the second gate structure, the first S/D feature is configured for an n-type transistor, and the second S/D feature is configured for a p-type transistor. The method further includes introducing a p-type dopant into both the first and the second S/D features. After the introducing of the p-type dopant, the method further includes performing an etching process to the first and the second S/D features, wherein the etching process etches the first S/D feature faster than it etches the second S/D feature.
Sound diffusion system embedded in a railway vehicle and associated vehicle, method and computer program
The invention relates to a sound diffusion system embedded in a railway vehicle and comprising: a plurality of groups of speakers distributed in the cars, each group of speakers being located in a respective diffusion zone of the railway vehicle; a control device of the speakers configured to broadcast generic sound signals via the different groups of speakers; and at least one reception device, each reception device being associated with a single group of speakers and being able to receive a control signal from a control device outside the railway vehicle, the control device being configured, upon reception of a control signal by one of the reception devices, to broadcast a specific sound signal solely via the associated group of speakers.
TRANSMISSION LINE TRANSFORMER AND AMPLIFYING CIRCUIT
A first transmission line and a third transmission line are disposed at different positions in a thickness direction of a substrate. The third transmission line includes a first end portion connected to one end portion of the first transmission line, and a second end portion that is grounded. The first transmission line is electromagnetically coupled to the third transmission line. The first transmission line has a coil pattern and the third transmission line has a partially open loop pattern.
