INTELLIGENT BATHING BED
An intelligent bathing bed is provided, which includes an underframe and a mattress. The mattress is arranged within the underframe, the mattress includes a fixed mattress and a movable mattress. The fixed mattress and the movable mattress are arranged at intervals in a same plane. The movable mattress is connected with the underframe through a water outlet pipe. The movable mattress includes a roller. A peripheral surface of the roller is provided with a water outlet array and a massaging head array. The water outlet array and the massaging head array are arranged at intervals. The intelligent bathing bed further includes a driving mechanism. The roller is connected with the driving mechanism, and the roller is driven by the driving mechanism to rotate along a central axis. The disclosure has advantages that it is less operation difficulty, can guarantee use safety of the users, and is suitable for the elderly population.
System and method for moving, turning, and positioning a patient
A method for turning and positioning a patient includes placing a sheet under the patient, the sheet including a top surface, a bottom surface, a first lateral side, a second lateral side, a first strap coupled proximate to the first lateral side, and a second strap coupled proximate to the second lateral side, and providing a pulling force to the first strap and the second strap, wherein the pulling force to the first strap and the pulling force to the second strap are in opposing directions across the patient. The pulling force to the first strap is greater than the pulling force to the second strap whereby the pulling force to the first handle causes movement of the patient in the direction of the pulling force to move the patient from a first position to a second position, and the pulling force to the second handle is a resistance force.
Multi-alert lights for hospital bed
A patient support apparatus, such as a hospital bed, includes an alert light assembly or an alert light module having separate zones that are individually illuminated to convey information regarding respective alert conditions. The zones each have indicia related to a particular condition of the patient support apparatus. The illuminated zones are each sufficiently large so as to be seen from afar, such as on the order of ten feet or more. Alternatively or additionally, a GUI of the patient support apparatus displays alert indicia as part of a screen saver. Further alternatively or additionally, the patient support apparatus illuminates an alert light in a manner indicating an optimal time for taking a patient's vital signs.

Patient positioning support apparatus with virtual pivot-shift pelvic pads, upper body stabilization and fail-safe table attachment mechanism
A patient support apparatus for supporting a patient in a prone position during a surgical procedure is provided, including an open fixed frame suspended above a floor and a pair of spaced opposed radially sliding joints cooperating with the frame, each joint including a virtual pivot point and an arc of motion spaced from the virtual pivot point, the joints being movable along the arc providing a pivot ship mechanism for a pair of pelvic pads attached to the joints. A base for supporting and suspending a patient support structure above the floor, for supporting a patient during a surgical procedure, the base including a pair of spaced opposed vertical translation subassemblies reversibly attachable to a patient support structure, a cross-bar, and a rotation subassembly having two degrees of rotational freedom; wherein a location of each vertical translation subassembly is substantially constant during operation of the patient support structure.
PERSON SUPPORT SYSTEMS INCLUDING A PERSON SUPPORT SURFACE HAVING AN INTEGRATED BLOWER FOR MICROCLIMATE MANAGEMENT
A person support system including a person support surface. The person support surface may include a blower subassembly and a surface foundation layer. The person support surface may further include a turn assist bladder layer, a working cushion layer, and a support cushion layer positioned between a first lateral side bolster and a second lateral side bolster of the surface foundation layer, a foot bladder layer positioned proximally adjacent the surface foundation layer, and a microclimate management (MCM) layer, where the blower subassembly may be configured to supply air to the MCM layer. A top encasement portion of the person support surface may be removably coupled to a bottom encasement portion of the person support surface to enclose such included components within the person support surface.
System, method and apparatus to prevent and treat a disease by optimization of sleep posture and assisted rollovers
A body support system, method and apparatus is described, for preventing and treating a disease or injury by optimization of sleep posture and assisted rollovers. A body support device comprises two or more extendable, retractable support walls, for supporting various parts of a user as a cradle of the body support device is rotated into various positions.
PATIENT POSITIONING DEVICE
A patient positioning device facilitates the placement of a patient in the prone position on the bolsters of a medical table or bed more quickly. The patient positioning device facilitates the surgeon's removal of their arms from underneath the patient once the patient has been properly positioned in the prone position on the medical table or bed (e.g., without shifting the patient out of place). Additionally, the patient positioning device inhibits (e.g., prevents) the surgeon's arms from coming into contact with the patient's skin.
Head extension and transport handle system
A patient support apparatus includes a base frame and an upper frame configured to support a mattress. The upper frame has a head portion including a recessed edge. Lift arms are coupled to the upper frame and configured to adjust a position of the upper frame. A first handle is coupled to the head portion on a first side of the recessed edge. A second handle is coupled to the head portion on a second side of the recessed edge. The first and second handles are configured to pivot inboard and toward one another to a lowered position extending over the upper frame adjacent to the recessed edge. An intravenous pole is pivotally coupled to the head portion and is adjustable between a deployed position and a stowed position. The intravenous pole extends along a rear wall of the recessed edge over the upper frame when in the stowed position.
Techniques for managing patient therapy protocols
A system and a method for managing patient therapy protocols are disclosed. The system includes a patient support apparatus for supporting a patient, a first input device for use by a first caregiver, a location system for determining a location of the first caregiver, and a therapy management system. The therapy management system receives a location of the first caregiver and a selection of a patient therapy protocol, which includes a location requirement. The therapy management system then determines whether the first caregiver location input signal satisfies the location requirement before initiating the selected patient therapy protocol or notifying a second caregiver if the location of the first caregiver does not satisfy the location requirement.
